Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour Swatches and Review

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been so far ?

Revlon launches the new Revlon HD ultra Matte lip colours a little while ago, and Revlon send me two colours to test out. I was pretty impressed , so over the weekend I picked up two more colours. Now first off - These are hard to find , as they fly off the shelves - and for a good reason - they are pretty awesome liquid lipsticks.

If you have used the HD Lip Lacquers or Lipsticks you will find these have the same vanilla / mango smell to them. I personally like the smell (but I know some people might not ). It doesn't linger too long , but thought it might be worth a mention.

I find these to wear pretty well too - about 4/5 hours (and that included drinking coffee - but they are not transfer proof ) . The wear is pretty comfortable and doesn't dry out your lips - which is great for a liquid lipstick. I like that it leaves a stain on your lips too - so the colour wears off nicely and leaves a pretty stain on your lips (which could easily pass for a lighter version of the colour for another 3/4 hours) The colour range isn't that big , but the six colours in the range covers your everyday colours.

The packaging is pretty neat too. It looks pretty sleek and I love the doe foot applicator - some brands make them too hard but this is firm enough to apply the lipstick nice and evenly without hurting your lips.
So onto the swatches of the 4 colours I have :

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Seduction
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Flirtation
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Temptation
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Addiction

And the lip swatches -

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Seduction :
This one is without a doubt my favourite. I can see myself wearing this one the most - it's such a pretty nude ( and we know I'm a sucker for a gorgeous nude lipstick / gloss ) .
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Flirtation :
This is a gorgeous coral colour . While I'm not usually a fan of coral lip colours - this one is gorgeous. I love this one on more summery days - and it leaves the prettiest stain on your lips.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Temptation :
This is a gorgeous bright pink . A perfect colour yet again for summer ( I personally believe you can rock any lip colour in any season - make your own trends .) The stain on this one is pretty awesome too .. It faded beautifully on the lips.

Revlon Ultra Matte HD Addiction :
This one I got specifically for winter - and I can see myself reaching for this one a lot. As you know - next to nude I LOVE wearing berry / purple lip colours . This is such a rich gorgeous colour that will be perfect for the upcoming colder seasons ( If you are not moving into spring of course ). This one is another one that leaves a gorgeous stain on your lips - a real winner.

As I mentioned , these are available in six colours , and retails for R155. Clicks has them on their Autumn beauty special where you can get 3 for the price of two. But hurry up if you want to take advantage of that offer - these babies are really selling out fast .

Have you tried them before ? Do you love the matte lip trend ?

Farm Animals Friday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
