Essence Advent Calendar Reveal 6-12 December


Hi guys ! Happy Monday. How has your weekend been ? Any one else super excited for this time of the year. 

Today I will be sharing my Advent calendar rundown with you guys - I'll be posting every Monday to share the goodies I got in this lovely calendar. I'll be posting the goodies I got the week before Christmas just after Christmas .

The Essence Advent Calendar is available from Dischem stores for R415 - although both Dischem stores close to be have them on sale for R375 currently. That works out to about R17,30 per item. The calendar includes 24 FULL sized products - most in special edition holiday packaging. As there was a few items I wanted to try - I was excited when I was gifted this beauty by my mom . Each day also includes a little quote - which is a fun way to start your day.

I won't be doing a full review in this post - but if you are curious about any of the products feel free and I'll gladly do a mini review of the ones requested. 


Day 6 :
10 Gorgeous Christmas gift tags ( not pictured as I already put these to use oops !) 


Day 7 :
A gorgeous blush brush with little snowflakes design on... This is too cute ! 

 Day 8:
Essence Sweet as Candy Nail Polish - no surprise there... I love this colour and have been wearing it out and about .

 Day 9 :
2 cute hair ties - perfect for the hot summer weather we are having now. 

 Day 10 : 
A pack of 12 cute mini nail files - these are perfect to pop out and take in your bag with you for nail emergencies. 

 Day 11 : 
Glossy Kiss Lip balm in Cherry Kiss. Essence makes amazing lipglosses - so excited to start using this one.

 Day 12  :
Good Girl Nail Stickers - these have cute snowflakes , gingerbread men , angel wings and candy canes. I am excited to use these asap. I will share these in mani's here and on social media soon.

    oooh so cute! i'm a little jealous. i wanted a cosmetics advent calendar and been searching for an affordable one, but i didn't like the products range and quality, so i have decided to buy myself the items i really wanted instead, but yours looks just on point!

      I wanted one , but with Alex starting Grade 1 next year I decided to rather safe money towards that and school clothes ect when my mom surprised me with this. He has a Lego one he opens up every morning and I post on Twitter too. :)

I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out.
