Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. Hi guys ! Happy Monday . How was your weekend ?  A little while back I picked up tons of new nail polishes to try and review on the blog - and since my mom is searching for the best wear time nail polish - I was excited to pick this baby up to give a try . Clicks had a special on the combo pack - R189 for the colour polish and top coat - and since they usually retail for around R120 each , I decided to give this kit a try . They don't have such a huge range of colours in the combo kits - mine had a hot pink , a red and this gorgeous nude colour - and of course being me I had to try the nude out. And nude colours are perfect for me for work / going out as I feel it's neutral and you can never go wrong with a good neutral. It's recommended you wear the polish without a base coat - I always wear a base coat but decided I wanted to try it out as is for the wear test . Hi guys ! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good and relaxing. Catrice , just like Essence launched a Gel polish system a little while back and Catrice was kind enough to send these to me to try out. I also got the colour A Gallon of Melon, which is such a gorgeous peachy colour to try out with these polishes. A Gallon of Melon is a gorgeous peachy colour that applies smoothly , and is opaque in two coats.  So onto my thoughts about these polishes - I love this base coat and top coat combo together. This base coat is just sticky enough and dries matt pretty fast , I love these types of base coats as they really help your polish stay on longer in the long run. As with the Essence - This top coat is AMAZING ! It dries super shiny and fast , so if your in a hurry and need to be out the door in a flash ... This is a fantastic top coat to use.  Lasting power ? Hi guys . Happy Monday ! How was your weekend ??  Essence recently launched some awesome The Gel Polish base / top coat and a great range of polishes.  I got a few of the colours in the range to test out, and was pretty excited to see how these polishes preform with the top and base coat from this range.  One of the colours I got was Lucky - A gorgeous pink polish. The colour was opaque in two coats , and applied smoothly.I used it with the Essence The Gel Polish Base coat and Top coat. Now the base coat I found pretty average, but boy oh boy ... The top coat really impressed me. I love quick drying top coats, because let's be real - no one has time to sit and wait for polish to dry . This top coat is AMAZING ! It makes your mani dry SUPER fast (not Seche Vite fast, but really fast ) And it makes your nails look nice and shiny.  Now onto the wear time - this combo is suppose to make your nails last chip free for longer. I won't say it will keep them chip free...
