Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been ??  A little while back while  City Girl Beauty  had a sale on their Matte Liquid lippies for National Lipstick day - buy one get another one free. I've been super keen to try Jess - a fellow South African blogger - line and knew I had to order and try them.  I got Rome - a gorgeous pinky nude for myself and Paris (a peachy toned lippie for my mom - so I won't be swatching that one ) and Jess was kind enough to include another shade for me to try - California - a bright orange toned red.  The applicator is a little doe foot applicator - personally I find this one a little bit harder to use since it is so thin. The lippy smells amazing - like vanilla cupcakes but it's not overpowering once on the lips. The formula is quite mousy so you need a little shake before applying but these lippies has such an amazing staying power - they last amazingly well even after millions of cups of coffee and cupcakes....

Sorry for the lack of posts last week - with my still in hospital ICU ( we are going on week 3 ) it's crazy running from work , hospital and school prize givings.  Avon launched a new liquid lippy - and I was really excited when I saw these. These are like a melted down lipstick - the colour is gorgeous and opaque and the formula is super hydrating and nice and buttery . The formula also has a built- in primer to smooth the lip surface. There are 10 colours in the range - and I will be sharing the three colours I ordered with you . There are more bold fin colours - but I know myself and go for a more neutral lip on a daily basis - so I picked three colours that would suit that requirement.  So let's jump into the swatches : NUDEITTUDE This is a gorgeous nude colour. Hi guys. Happy Friday. How has YOUR week been so far ? On Monday I was lucky enough to receive some new liquid matte lippies from Rimmel to test out and review for Rubybox. I was really excited to try out the range . These lippies are said to have a 12hour wear time , be kiss-proof , transfer proof and water resistant. The range had quite a wide selection of shades - so there will be a perfect colour for every skin-tone and every lip colour you might need. There are 15 colours in the range - and I have 12 of the colours to share with you today and offer arm and lip swatches. Mine has been pretty crazy busy - but I'm sure next week everything will be back to normal again.  Today I'm sharing a highly anticipated  post with you guys - I got so many requests on Instagram to show off these lippies with swatches as quickly as possible. So without let's jump right into the swatches and a little more about the formula. Avon send me four of the shades to try out but I bought two more to share with you guys.  These lippies smells amazing. They have a faint fruity scent - which I love. The formula is nice and mouse and applies easily.  I love how the applicator is nice and pointed making doing your cupid's bow super easy. The formula is nice and matte but doesn't dry out your lips - it leaves your lips pretty comfortable. Avon updated and re-branded some of their make-up under the Mark range that promises loud colour, trendy items , high on impact and big on inspiration.  I love the new packaging - the black and white is very eye catching and makes you feel fancy using the items - which is a bonus since they are pretty affordable and awesome. Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday , hope you had a relaxing long weekend (or just enjoyed the public holiday yesterday if you weren't lucky enough to have Monday off off ) A few weeks ago when I popped into Deschem,  I saw these amazing nude lipsticks in the Essence stand. I swatched them in-store and decided to get one ( I was sick after all, that justifies a lipstick... ) and got my heart set on Wearing only a smile (The lightest one of the bunch.) I accidentally took a different one (Porcelain Doll ) and paid - I'll blame the flu meds ... But fell in love with Porcelain Doll instantly. I'm a huge fan of nude lips... So this was a winner. And nude lips goes with ANY make-up look .  Then a week or two after that,  Essence sent me some Trend edition goodies to try out... And to my surprise... Wearing Only a Smile was included.
