Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far ?? Today I am sharing some new Revlon favourites I've been using a lot lately. Some of them I have discovered the end of December last year and some are new loves that popped into my routine.  Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Matte Foundation 150 Buff This is one of the latest foundations from Revlon. I knew I already loved the colourstay foundation range in general - so I was really excited when Takealot had this foundation on sale last year and picked one up. This is a 24hour wear foundation that promises no caking or fading, that's lightweight and blends seamlessly. And I have to agree on those statements (although I never wear foundation that long). This has been my go-to foundation the last few weeks since my skin has been acting up a little in this heat. It's a good medium coverage foundation - and I love how this doesn't cling too much on dry patches - but looks flawless and doesn't go into fine line...

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been ??  A little while back while  City Girl Beauty  had a sale on their Matte Liquid lippies for National Lipstick day - buy one get another one free. I've been super keen to try Jess - a fellow South African blogger - line and knew I had to order and try them.  I got Rome - a gorgeous pinky nude for myself and Paris (a peachy toned lippie for my mom - so I won't be swatching that one ) and Jess was kind enough to include another shade for me to try - California - a bright orange toned red.  The applicator is a little doe foot applicator - personally I find this one a little bit harder to use since it is so thin. The lippy smells amazing - like vanilla cupcakes but it's not overpowering once on the lips. The formula is quite mousy so you need a little shake before applying but these lippies has such an amazing staying power - they last amazingly well even after millions of cups of coffee and cupcakes....

Sorry for the lack of posts last week - with my still in hospital ICU ( we are going on week 3 ) it's crazy running from work , hospital and school prize givings.  Avon launched a new liquid lippy - and I was really excited when I saw these. Mine has been pretty crazy busy - but I'm sure next week everything will be back to normal again.  Today I'm sharing a highly anticipated  post with you guys - I got so many requests on Instagram to show off these lippies with swatches as quickly as possible. So without let's jump right into the swatches and a little more about the formula. Avon send me four of the shades to try out but I bought two more to share with you guys.  These lippies smells amazing. They have a faint fruity scent - which I love. The formula is nice and mouse and applies easily.  I love how the applicator is nice and pointed making doing your cupid's bow super easy. The formula is nice and matte but doesn't dry out your lips - it leaves your lips pretty comfortable. Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been so far ? Revlon launches the new Revlon HD ultra Matte lip colours a little while ago, and Revlon send me two colours to test out. I was pretty impressed , so over the weekend I picked up two more colours. Now first off - These are hard to find , as they fly off the shelves - and for a good reason - they are pretty awesome liquid lipsticks.  If you have used the HD Lip Lacquers or Lipsticks you will find these have the same vanilla / mango smell to them. I personally like the smell (but I know some people might not ). It doesn't linger too long , but thought it might be worth a mention. I find these to wear pretty well too - about 4/5 hours (and that included drinking coffee - but they are not transfer proof ) . The wear is pretty comfortable and doesn't dry out your lips - which is great for a liquid lipstick. I like that it leaves a stain on your lips too - so the colour wears off nicely and leaves a pretty stain on y...

Hi guys ! Happy Tuesday . Anyone else glad it's a super short week this week ? I am recovering from a cold this weekend, not the best way to start a week though.  I Today I'm sharing some Essence Liquid Lipsticks with you . Last year Essence was kind enough to send me a press pack, and two of these shades were included, Around the same time I placed an online order with Red Square and also picked one up . (That one is my favourite shade - Colour Party) , These lipsticks aren't matte or long lasting like most liquid lipsticks. These really feel like a lipstick melted down - but they are super moisturising. These are a little sticky like lipglosses but nothing super annoying, these are quite comfortable to wear. . They last a good 2/3 hours on me and even when the colour has faded it still has a moisturising feeling on the lips - which for the price makes it worth while to check out.
