MIYO We Are Golden Five Points Eyeshadow Palette

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far? Mine has been crazy busy - the last few weeks has been me running from one place to the other - with work and personal life. How crazy has this year been so far?  As I mentioned with my last review of the Miyo palette - I ordered another gorgeous palette from Glamore Cosmetics  and I really couldn't wait to play with it. I decided on this cute palette as I knew that's an everyday staple in my collection - and I wanted something small enough to be able to travel with. ( Look at me talking about travelling when I know that won't happen soon ...)  I love the tones of the We Are Golden palette, I won't say it's too warm-toned or cool-toned, all these shades (well the three brown tones) fall more into the neutral side - making it the perfect palette for almost everyone.  Since getting this palette - I have been using it almost daily. I don't do anything fancy eyeshadow wise for work, mostly just set my ...

Glamore Cosmetics Princess Aurora 9 Piece Eyeshadow Palette

Hi guys! Happy Friday - and also Happy July. July is going to be another super busy month for me- work is insanely busy (which is always good !) and Alex has a million activities this month too.  Today I'm sharing with you my thoughts on Princess Aurora 9 Piece Eyeshadow Palette  from Glamore Cosmetics. I have raved about them hundreds on times on the blog as well as my Instagram (and I have some lip-glosses and foundation review from this online store to share with you guys soon too ).   Gael was kind enough to send me this palette as a surprise for my birthday - and honestly, while I didn't feel like playing with make-up then - now it's a palette I reach for on a weekly basis. This stunning palette consists of three shimmer shades (which all look WOW and 6 super soft blend-able matte shades) The shadows are all extremely pigmented - I mean WOW! I can apply these on my lids around 5 in the morning and before bedtime (around 9/10 on my early nigh...

{Review} Some New Almay Products on my Beauty Desk

Hi guys ! Happy Monday ! How was your weekend ? Excited for Christmas getting closer and closer?  A few weeks ago a few new Almay beauty goodies landed on my beauty desk to try out. While I have a few Almay products that's my favourite favourite - I haven't tried anything from the brand too recently so I was glad to get some goodies to try out . Let's jump into the review - Almay Best Blend Forever Make-Up R270 I have to admit - when I saw the sponge applicator I was sceptical. I don't like using products with build it sponges - but this one is pretty decent. Another bonus is it can be clicked out , washed and clicked back in - which for me is a huge bonus as I hate using dirty sponges. This is a make-up moisturiser with a built in applicator - making it a fantastic multi-tasking product. I feel this is amazing for summer - as it evens out skin tone - yet isn't heavy like foundations in this heat. It's the perfect mix of skincare and colour. I love th...

Hean Treasure Foil Metallic Shadow

Hi guys ! Happy Monday. How has your weekend been ? Mine was super busy at work with year end approaching fast - but I really can't wait to put up the Christmas tree and listen to Christmas music non stop soon. As you all know by know I really love Glamore Cosmetics  - not only do they have fantastic costumer service they always have awesome deals and their products are amazing. I recently picked up two of the Treasure Foil Metallic Shadows and today I will share my thoughts on them . These shadows have amazing pigmentation - and can be used both wet and dry.  When the shadows are used wet, they have the same finish as cream eye shadows and have intense shine. Pick up some product on an eyeshadow brush, spray with a setting to fixing spray and then apply to the eye.  When used dry for a softer finish, for best results, use a flat eyeshadow brush for the most colour payoff and sparkle.    The two colours I picked up as 922 - Champagne and 910 - Peony....

Glamore Cosmetics Coffee & Cream Eyeshadow Palette

Hi guys ! Happy Monday ! How was your weekend ? I have a super busy week ahead of me- Alex went through to the next round of Public Speaking later today and he has Eisteddfod this week which I will be running on coffee this week.  It's no secret I'm a huge fan of  Glamore Cosmetics  - they have the best costumer service and always willing to assist you with any question you have. A week or two ago they got some new goodies on the site and the Coffee and Cream Palette  that was out of stock got restocked and I knew I had to pick it up. Glamore has some of the best eyeshadow - I reviewed another palette in the range ( The Insanely Romantic Eyeshadow Palette)  HERE  and it's still one of my favourites - but the nudes and browns was calling my name and I added it to my cart as quickly as I saw they were in stock again . And *swoon* these eyeshadow impresses . They are buttery and blends like a dream ... the colours are stunning and so pigment...

My Picks from the Essence Counting Stars Collection

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . Hope you are having a lovely week so far.  A little while back I was browsing Takealot and I saw this cute little collection . The collection has lippies , eyeshadows , make-up application tools , hair ties and gorgeous nail goodies. From what I can gather this is a limited edition range exclusive to Takealot as I haven't seen it in store yet.  From the collection though only a few items jumped out at me . A lipgloss , the two lippies and an eyeshadow palette.  Essence Counting Stars Highlighter and Eyeshadow Palette 01 Make Your Own Magic R59 This is a gorgeous mini nude palette with three gorgeous colours . Online it does look more pink so don't be fooled into thinking this is a more rosey palette. The colours are SUPER buttery , creamy and blendable - these eyeshadows literally blend themselves . The highligter is a gorgeous more golden toned highlight that can easily work on the skin too - the reason I picked this up it...

Glamore Insanely Romantic Eyeshadow Palette

Hi guys. Happy Wednesday. How has your week been so far ? Mine has been incredibly busy at work- I'm pretty sure this time of year everyone feels like that.  Last week Monday Glamore Cosmetics launched a new eye shadow palette -  Insanely Romantic Eyeshadow Palette . This 8 piece eye shadow palette consists of 5 pigmented metallic shimmers including some Plum shades ,a Green and Champagne colour , 1 semi metallic vanilla shade as well as 2 ultra smooth matte shades in Grape and Peach.  As with all the Glamore Cosmetics products - all the products are hypo-allergenic and cruelty free. It's no secret that I'm more of a nudes girl - but those plum shades in the palette did tempt me to pick it up to try.  So onto some swatches of this palette.Overall all the colours swatches nicely and the shades blends like a dream - they are soft and very easy to use. The first row of eyeshadows I personally feel these are all colours out of my comfort zone - BUT I ca...

My picks from the Essence Wake Up , Spring ! Range

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I am sharing my picks from the Essence Wake Up , Spring ! Range. As always this collection was another gorgeous limited edition collection - and I was happy when I saw my Clicks was still pretty fully stocked. This time round though - the nailpolishes didn't intrigue me at all - but I will be sharing the three items I did decide to pick up. Essence Wake Up , Spring Blush in Hello Sunshine ! There is apparently two blushes in the range , but my Clicks only had one. Again - did Lynette need another Blush in her life ? No. Did Lynette buy said blush in any case - Yes ! This blush was a little less pigmented than I hoped - but it's a nice gorgeous subtle everyday colour. I don't gravitate to peachy blushes in Winter - so I haven't used this one too much - but this will look stunning when the weather warms up.   T he Blush can be folded up to reveal an integrated mirror - which is pretty cool and can make to...
