Pink & Purple Dots

  Hi guys. Hope you are well. It's FRIDAY... and raining in JHB ... Yeah..  And Christmas is getting closer too... my favourite time of year. So today I'm sharing to GORGEOUS glittery polishes from Revlon Pebbled Texture collection.  I got two of the 8 shades to show you. These are perfect for the Festive season , and holiday parties ... Or just chilling next to the beach with. These are PACKED with glitters, and are fully opaque in 2 coats.  First up ... Moroccan Oasis ..  And Tahitian Coast..  As I mentioned, since this is a VERY dense glitter polishes , they do have a texture. Revlon also sells a Matte top coat , that works perfectly with these polishes... That way they stay matte and your polish stays on better too. Removal .. As with any dense glitter polish.. Takes a little bit of work. I would recommend you use the foil method to remove these polishes.  These retail for R99,95 at leading pharmacies and most retailers ....

It's no secret that I'm a HUGE Hello Kitty fan... Hi guys ! Hope you are having a great week. Mine has been super busy again, hopefully from tomorrow it will calm down a bit again. Today I'm sharing one of the new Revlon Texture polishes with you ... This one is from the Leather Cuir range .. They also have a tweed range - I'll be sharing that one next week with you . As I mentioned in about a million posts... I REALLY love texture polishes. This one is no exception. Rock Chic is the most gorgeous blue polish... I seriously couldn't stop staring at my nails, this blue is just GORGEOUS . Formula was fantastic here and wear time too . I wore this for about 4 days before some tip wear started showing - since you don't top coat this polish it's great wear time. I used 2 coats of Revlon Rock Chic in the photos below - How has YOUR week been so far ??

Hi guys ! Hope you all had a fun weekend. I'm so glad the weather in JHB will be getting a little cooler this week, so far I have been disappointed in my favourite seasons... I want colder weather. Today I'm sharing another of the new Essence polishes with you - Essence Hello Rosy . Hello Rosy is   a beautiful shade of pink with the Sand Sparkle Effect . and it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of texture polish.  Sadly, I found that this polish showed tip wear super quickly ... Within a day and a half I had noticeable tip wear. I haven't experienced this quick tip wear with the other 2 Sand Effect polishes I own. (And I put all my polishes through the same wear ... washing dishes, laundry ... ) I used 2 coats of Essence Hello Rosy in the photos below - How was YOUR weekend ??

Hi guys... Hope you all had a great weekend and had an amazing Mother's Day. Mine was nice and relaxing as a family.  Today I'm sharing one of the newer Essence Release polishes - One of their Effect Sparkling Sugar Polishes. I have to admit.. The colour in the bottle was EVERYTHING I hoped for in a polish.. Texture... Light  Pink ... But unfortunately on the nail it was a big disappointment for me. The colour is a little sheer , the effect wasn't there... The polish was just a plain polish on me so I ended up  top coating the polish.  Essence Baby You're a Firework has gorgeous golden and light pink glitters in a pearly shimmery base. As I said earlier , it is very sheer... If you have shorter nails or don't mind VNL ( Visible Nail Line) then you don't need to layer it though.  I layered it over Tip Top Melting Marshmallow in my photos with 2 coats Essence Baby, You're a Firework . The combo was nice and girly.. But it did leave me disappoin...

Hi guys ! Hope you had a great weekend ! Mine was super busy, but ready for an exciting week ahead. I will be having a give-away a little later this week so keep your eyes peeled for that . Today I'm showing you another fun Tip Top mani. Tip Top came out with these Wild Thing Glitters last year.. And I still have a few untried ones . So I decided to use Barrier Reef while we are having really summery weather over the weekend as accent nails along with another untried Tip Top Coral Candy . I have to say I'm in LOVE with Coral Candy .. This colour is SOOOO gorgeous , and applies so smoothly . I used two coats on all the nails below . Again ... I talked about how I apply the Wild Thing Glitters  HERE  if you are unsure about them. While they aren't an everyday nail look , they are fun to wear . So onto the mani - How was your weekend ??

Hi guys ! Hope you had a fun weekend. Mine was busy but still super fun. Sorry about the lack of posts last week too , life got a little crazy busy .  So onto the polish . Last year China Glaze came out with a new line of texture polishes that was not only texture, but had a chrome look to them as well. I know a lot of people doesn't like the look of this texture.. As it might look like you just polished your nails and went to bed and woke up with them all wrinkly and ugly .. But I'm really liking this texture a lot. Especially since it's so shiny and only need one coat - making this polish dry insanely quick.  The wear time isn't too bad too, this is still my #NOTD since Thursday evening and so far no chips or cracks in the polish yet , and I'm super rough on my hands. Hi guys ! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was great and I enjoyed the rainy cooler weather... Pure bliss.  And it's March... Just feels like yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas. But I don't mind... March means autumn will be here soon and it's also my birthday month .. Yeah ! Today is a very special day.. Alex is starting pre-school today at an amazing school. He's so excited for today .  So for today I decided on a special Lego inspired mani as he REALLY loves playing with his Lego blocks and little Lego people . My inspiration came from the Nailasaurus and her Lego inspired mani  HERE  . Hers is of course a million times better .. But it's still a super awesome mani , and Alex loves it. Today I'm sharing another gorgeous Tip Top Confetti Glitter with you . This one was included in my Favourite Pink Polishes for Valentine's Day  HERE  ..  and it's really one of my favourite Tip Top Confetti Glitters ever ! It's the Missing Pink is a bright almost neon pink polish with the most gorgeous glitters on the other end of the duo. This is so sparkly and girly ... And I'm sure if Barbie could wear texture polish this is what she would chose .
