Paris Inspired Mani ♥

Hi guys ! Hope the first few days of 2014 treated you okay so far. Mine has been relaxing with family , so really having a blast.  Since I'm a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE fan of anything Paris inspired, I was so glad when I got the chance to review  THESE  gorgeous water decals from the  Born Pretty Store  .   Since I can remember, my dream job has always been to be a starving artist with a little apartment looking out on the Eiffel Tower. (Obviously not too starving since I need to afford the apartment ... hee hee hee ) .  The design I chose was D237 from  THIS  link . The decals are so easy to use and the designs are really fantastic. I love the impressive detail in the water decals, something I would never be able to draw by hand . Here's how they work -  First take of the little plastic film from the decals . Simply cut out the design you love . Get a glass of room temperature water . Taking a pair of tweezers, lightly the design i...

Hello Kitty Inspired Mani

Hi guys ! Hope your having a great week so far. If you are on holiday already I hope your having a blast and if you are still working I hope the week flies by. It's no secret that I'm a HUGE Hello Kitty fan... every year my brother bakes me a hello kitty cake or cupcakes for my birthday. So when I was in the mood for a fun and SUPER girly mani , I was instantly inspired by Hello Kitty . So I used some fun pink colours and drew a cute Hello Kitty design with my striper brush and dotting tools.  Here's my fun Hello Kitty inspired mani -  Hope you like it as much as I love it. For this mani I used - Tip Top Melting Marshmallow OPI Pussy Galore My Pink and White Homemade Glitter OPI Alpine Snow Tip Top Lemon Fuel Tip Top Grape to Meet You Tip Top Black Forest Revlon Pop Art (The Pink Striper Brush )  How has your week been so far ??

Pink with Purple Cheron Tips

Hi guys ! It was so sad to wake up this morning to hear about the death of Nelson Mandela. He was such an inspiration to South Africa. RIP Mandela.  Hope everyone had a great week . Mine was filled with new changes, but luckily when one door closes another one opens.   Today I'm sharing a fun purple and pink design with you . I first started of painting my nails 3 coats of OPI If You Moust You Moust, a gorgeous barbie pink colour . Then using a striping brush, I painted the Chevron tips using OPI A Grape Fit ! And drew some heart on two nails using my dotting tool and OPI Pamplona Purple.  On to the photos -  I really love the girly colours together as well as the design with the hearts .  How was YOUR week ? Any fun weekend plans ??

Revlon - Spring Break

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Mine got off to a bumpy start, but got a little better luckily.  Today I'm sharing another gorgeous nail polish with you. This is from Revlon's Nail Art Chalkboard Nails. These polishes come with a dual ended polish which gives you everything to create fun nail art. The one side is a black matte polish , and the other side a pastel matte striper polish for creating fun designs. For this mani I used 1 coat of the black matte polish and created some fun dots , stripes , heart and a doodly face with the Spring Break pastel green side. Again, since this polish was designed to be matte, I decided to keep it that way. You can always use a matte top coat over the design to prevent the polish from chipping too fast.  Here's the fun mani I created - I really like how it looks like scribbling on a chalkboard !!!  These retail for R89,95 .  How has YOUR week been so far ? *This product...

Revlon Expressionist - Jackson Polish , Night & Degas and Pop Art

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fun weekend. Mine was nice and relaxing. I'm busy making an outdoor mosaic table, so spend some time finishing that up. Hopefully I will be able to share some photos soon. Today I'm sharing some colours from the Revlon Expressionist range. These are double ended nail polishes.. With a normal polish brush on the one end and striper brush on the other. I think this is quite brilliant , as not everyone owns striper brushes AND these make a fun holiday polish as you only need to take one to get two fun looks.  The three colours I'm sharing today is Jackson Polish, Night & Degas and Pop Art. Up first is Jackson Polish. This is a orange-y red. I used two coats but one coat is fine if you don't mind a visible nail line. As you can see, the striper is a shimmery copper which applies quite smoothly for nail art.  Next up is Night and Degas! This is one of my favourites of this entire collection. The base is a two coater black...
