Avon Mark Liquid Lip Lacquer Mattes

Hi guys. Happy Friday. How has YOUR week been ?? Mine has been pretty crazy busy - but I'm sure next week everything will be back to normal again.  Today I'm sharing a highly anticipated  post with you guys - I got so many requests on Instagram to show off these lippies with swatches as quickly as possible. So without let's jump right into the swatches and a little more about the formula. Avon send me four of the shades to try out but I bought two more to share with you guys.  These lippies smells amazing. They have a faint fruity scent - which I love. The formula is nice and mouse and applies easily.  I love how the applicator is nice and pointed making doing your cupid's bow super easy. The formula is nice and matte but doesn't dry out your lips - it leaves your lips pretty comfortable. These lippies does transfer a teeny tiny bit - so you will notice it leaving marks on your coffee cup during the day. It won't survive a greasy lunch though- then again I...

3 Matte Lippies Perfect for Winter

Hi guys ! Happy Friday . How has your week been ? Mine has been pretty busy at work - and next week will be pretty busy too.  Today I am sharing some new lippies I'm loving for winter from Avon - The Avon Perfectly Matte lipsticks. I have reviewed a few different shades in my #SampleSunday series so I was excited to try some more deeper winter appropriate colours I was sent. The formula on these lippies aren't drying at all - they are pretty comfortable for a matte lipstick. Which is great - since most matte lipsticks tend to make your lips super dry and dehydrated.  The colour doesn't last the whole day - I would say a good 4/5 hours and does last through coffee or tea breaks. The best part is the colour can be re-applied without looking cakey and cracking. The three colours I was sent in order of the swatches : Avon Perfectly Matte Wild Cherry , Avon Perfectly Matte Superb Wine and Avon Perfectly Matte in Red Supreme. The berry and red tones is perfect fo...

Essence All About Matte Oil Free Make-Up

Hi guys ! Happy Friday . Hope you had a great week. Who else are excited for the weekend ? I know I am. A little while back Essence sent me an amazing little PR package including this gorgeous foundation - the same day I decided to get myself a shade lighter at Dischem too. (Which was a good call - as the shade I was sent will be perfect for summer - but it's a tad too dark for winter.)  I love this foundation - the formula is lightweight but it does cover imperfections without being heavy or cakey. Application is great with a brush or beauty blender or make-up sponge - both give a smooth finish. I prefer this foundation WITHOUT primer - and even though my skin is not as oily as it always was and it being winter which makes my skin super dehydrated -  doesn't dry out my skin at all or cause breakouts. So does it keep me matt ? Yes it does. As I mentioned in a few foundation posts - I apply my make-up pretty early in the morning - and after a full day of work my foundat...

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour Swatches and Review

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been so far ? Revlon launches the new Revlon HD ultra Matte lip colours a little while ago, and Revlon send me two colours to test out. I was pretty impressed , so over the weekend I picked up two more colours. Now first off - These are hard to find , as they fly off the shelves - and for a good reason - they are pretty awesome liquid lipsticks.  If you have used the HD Lip Lacquers or Lipsticks you will find these have the same vanilla / mango smell to them. I personally like the smell (but I know some people might not ). It doesn't linger too long , but thought it might be worth a mention. I find these to wear pretty well too - about 4/5 hours (and that included drinking coffee - but they are not transfer proof ) . The wear is pretty comfortable and doesn't dry out your lips - which is great for a liquid lipstick. I like that it leaves a stain on your lips too - so the colour wears off nicely and leaves a pretty stain on y...

My Top 5 Nude Lip Colours

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes / tweets well wishes on my last post, I really appreciate it. I had a great relaxing holiday and back into full swing with great posts for you guys this week.  In February around Valentine's Day - I did a little mini series about my Top 5 Pink , Purple and Red Lip Colours  HERE  , and I got a few requests for some more. So today I will be continuing the series with my Top 5 Nude Lip Colours.  As you may or may not know, I'm a HUGE fan of nude nail polish - but my love for nude coloured things doesn't stop here. I'm also a HUGE fan of rocking a nude lip most days - and these are my favourite I reach for the most often. They might all look the same in the top photo - so let me share the swatches and a mini review on each of these gorgeous colours. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer Smokey Topaz  These awesome lip lacquers are formulated with a gel formula high gloss shine . The formula has a...

Loreal Infallible Mattifying Primer & 24 Hour Matte Foundation Review

Hi guys ! Happy Friday. Anyone have any fun weekend plans ? Last year when the Loreal Infallible Mattifying Primer & 24Hour Matte foundation came out , I was running to the closest Deschem to get it to try it out. In December Loreal send me a few more shades, and I decided why not share my thoughts on these two products. For the record - The shade I use daily (11 Vanilla I bought myself as well as the mattifying primer ) My shade I started using after December (when I was tanned for once - Radiant Beige - I did receive as a PR sample ) As you guys know, I love primers. My HUGE collection of primers in my bathroom can definitely confirm that it's one of my most used products daily. If I apply make-up the day for work, I would like it to stay on my face and not slide off. Usually I apply my make-up around 05h30 in the mornings, and usually only take it off once Alex is in bed and fast asleep around 20h00 . And I want to still look as good at night as I did when I applied ...

My picks from the Essence Happy Girls are Pretty Collection

Hi guys . Happy Monday. Everyone have a great weekend ? As I shared on my Instagram account  HERE  I got a few products from the Limited Edition Essence Happy Girls are Pretty Collection. The whole collection is gorgeous ( and if you are a nail polish lover I would recommend you RUN to pick some up ) . The collection has two eyeliners, a contour set, a blush , two eyeshadow palettes , six  nail polishes, a nail file and two lip colours. I didn't NEED everything , so I only got the products I could see I will be using , and I thought why not share it here as well.  Happiness Is…Following Your Heart Eyeshadow Palette  This palette I can see being the most popular with five gorgeous nude shades. The eye shadows are also super adorable with a ball of yarn and the word "knit" engraved across. The palette is quite steady and clicks closed tightly  , so perfect for travelling (which is why I bought these two palettes ) . Happiness Is…Fol...
