Hi guys! Happy Tuesday. How has your week been so far? I'm back at full swing at work again this week, and with school only starting so much later this year, it will be a bit of a juggle with work and holiday life for the kiddo.  Today I'm sharing one of my favourite posts to always do - some of my favourite nail care essentials. Not a lot of you know this but this little blog started out as a nail art/swatches blog for all things nail related back in the day - and has since evolved into so much more. But I still adore nail looks and sharing what I love using.  With constantly sanitizing my hands (even before Corona ) I love using an extremely hydrating hand cream at night. I'll admit during the day I hardly put on any cream (eek!) but at night I love using a super hydrating hand cream. Now that it's finally getting a little warmer here in South Africa , I decided to share my 8 favourite nail polishes I love reaching for once the weather warms up a bit. Pastels are usually very popular year round - but especially in Spring time when you want some fun brighter colours to wear on your nails and get you ready for the new season . Although Picture Polish is a pricier brand - the polishes wear amazingly well and has a great wear time. Hi guys ! Happy Friday . How was your week ? Hopefully not too hectic . Mine has been very busy with juggling parenthood (and a kid with a million and one activities ) with work and blogging. But I survived - so a big yeah for that.  Today I will be sharing my Top 5 Everyday Nude Nail Polishes with you guys. As you know I love a good nude nail polish - and they are usually my go to shade every week ( well at least until my good friend Siobhan convinced me to do the #52weeknailchallenge with her) .  For the last few years I usually just went with nude nails and the occasional pink nails as my go to. I love how classic it looks and that it goes with everything. Most work environments require a more neutral look and nothing too over the top.  Do I think it might be a little boring and predictable ? Sure , perhaps if you like more bolder colours ... But these are my favourites that I recommend to anyone looking for a good nude polish staple in their collection.  ...

Hi guys ! Happy Monday. How was your weekend ? Do anything exciting ? Today I'm starting off by sharing my first Halloween mani . I LOVE doing Halloween nails-  HERE  is a link to some of my previous designs . I have done a ghost mani before but that was a more scary one - this year I decided to share a cute little ghost mani with you guys. Hi guys ! Happy Monday . How was your weekend ?  A little while back I picked up tons of new nail polishes to try and review on the blog - and since my mom is searching for the best wear time nail polish - I was excited to pick this baby up to give a try . Clicks had a special on the combo pack - R189 for the colour polish and top coat - and since they usually retail for around R120 each , I decided to give this kit a try . They don't have such a huge range of colours in the combo kits - mine had a hot pink , a red and this gorgeous nude colour - and of course being me I had to try the nude out. And nude colours are perfect for me for work / going out as I feel it's neutral and you can never go wrong with a good neutral. It's recommended you wear the polish without a base coat - I always wear a base coat but decided I wanted to try it out as is for the wear test . Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! Hope you all had a great week. Today I'm sharing my birthday mani with you. As I mentioned a few times on the blog before, I'm not a fan of wearing cupcake or balloon nail art on my special day, I prefer a SUPER girly mani usually.   For this year's mani I used some Sally Hansen Nail Polish strips I had around for about a year now. These Sally Hansen strips applied super easy , I was actually surprised how easy where. I'm really in love with Revlon Coy lately too . So I decided to pair these two gorgeous colours together .  So onto the photos...  How was YOUR week ? Any fun plans for the weekend ? 

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a decent week . It's weekend again ! Whoohoo ! I'm really not liking the heatwave currently happening... Bleh !Anyone got any fun weekend plans ?? Today I'm showing you one of the Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polishes. These are their e textured range of polishes. The first colour from the range that stood out for me was Bubble Plum (seems I'm a huge fan of purple nail polishes lately .. lol ) .  Bubble Plum is a gorgeous medium purple texture nail polish. The formula on this polish seemed a little harder to control than other texture polishes I've tried. For the swatch below I used two coats of Sally Hansen Sugar Coat . Another downside though .. The polish started getting some major tip wear after day three, and from there it just went south really quickly and started chipping really bad. Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fun weekend . Mine was fun, had a very special baby shower for my bestie who is expecting another little boy, and had a fun family get together . All downer was this hot weather... But I better get used to it again . Today I'm sharing the mani I had for the baby shower. Our colour theme was mint green and white, and we asked everyone to wear a little fun something in either mint or white. I decided on a mint and white dots mani . I used two coats of Sally Hansen Green Tea , it's really such a gorgeous mint colour. And dotted with a big and small dotting tool with OPI Alpine Snow. I loved that it wasn't overpowering but still soft and gorgeous . Here's my sweet baby shower mani - I decided to share the photos of the diaper cake, the one for the baby shower .
