Tip Top : Party Dress Glitter

Hi guys, hope everyone is having a rocking week so far ! I'm getting a nasty cold, bleh ! Today I'm showing you another awesome glitter from Tip Top - This one is called Party Dress. It instantly lifted my mood ♥ This colour contains lightish pink and silver glitter . It applied so easily, I used two coats over black again , to bring out the sparkles in the glitter . And this look looks fantastic ! I love pairing glitter polish with a darker colour underneath to bring out the full potential off the glitter. So enough blabbering about this awesome polish, let me show you some pics... *With flash* *With flash*    This glitter polish is really awesome. Best part is, when you pair up a glitter like this, it doesn't take ages too take off in the end too :) This glitter polish has a really sparkly and "dressed up" feel to it, so perfect for a party or just to brighten up your day. Tip Top : Crushed Grapes

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend ! I did ! I went to get some nail art stuff over the weekend, and I finally found a China Glaze colour I've been dreaming to own ! Yeahness ! Will most likely post the colour in the next two weeks :) Today I'm posting another fabulous colour from Tip Top. This one is a dark purple-ish colour, and I think the name suits it perfectly- Crushed Grape. It does look like a colour wine should be :) This is also a perfect winter colour :) I used two coats of Tip Top Crushed Grapes in the photos below - *WITH FLASH * Isn't this colour just fabulous ? If you love darker shades of polish, you'll love this polish. And even if you don't , crushed grape is really a fantastic colour , I'm sure you'll still love it too. :) I also would like to thank all the fans who sent me some lovely emails, I really do appreciate the kind words. xx And a little side post , my little man made the cutest photo frame, and I...

Farm Animals Friday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of ...

Tip Top : Cream Puff

Hi guys ! Wednesday already, this week is really flying by. :) I have to add, if I knew how hard the Tip Top Dark Denim Blue was to take off, I would have kept wearing that colour ! It took forever to take off , even my thumb still has a little blue-ish colour too it. :( Anyhow ... today I have another awesome polish to show you guys, another Tip Top polish. This one is called Cream Puff, and is a cream coloured polish .  I needed four coats of Tip Top Cream Puff to be opaque . But it was worth all the coats, the colour is superb ! My accent finger is a black kitty ( hopefully not as annoying as our neighbour's black cat ! ) Isn't this colour just fantastic ? ?I think this one might even move to  my favourite pile of polishes :) Cream Puff is one of the colours in the pastel range, I think I just need Cotton Beige then the collection will be complete :) Tip Top polishes retail at Clicks for R39,95 ♥

Tip Top : I luv Denim Dark Blue

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fun filled weekend. I sure did. I got hold of the Cherry Zam-Buk at Clicks over the weekend too, and I'm loving it ! It smells like a cherry slush puppy.. yum !! Anyhow.. Back to my mani . Today I'm showing you part 2 of the Tip Top I luv denim nail polish. This time, its the darker blue of the two colours. This polish does stain a little, so remember a good base coat. :) I used 1 coat of Tip Top I luv Denim Dark Blue on my nails. I also did a little denim pocket on my accent finger with Tip Top Gold Digger . This colour has a little shimmer again , and wow, really does look like a dark wash denim. Even more than the lighter colour blue. I think Tip Top nailed the denim look with this particular colour . The Tip Top I luv Denim polish Wand is available at Clicks stores for R79,95 ♥

Essence : Time for Romance

Hi guys. Hope everyone is still having a fantastic weekend ! So I wasn't exactly planning on doing my nails today, but was super busy yesterday, and had a few very bad nail polish chips, and I can't stand walking around with a mani like that. Eeeck !! So yesterday, I bought three nail polishes I was really lusting after, Tip Top Cream Puff, Essence Circus Confetti and this colour, Essence Time for Romance. Since I saw the two Essence colours at Dis-Chem last month, I have been wishing to buy them ever since. :) I have to admit, when I started with my mani, I was disappointed how sheer Time for a Romance was. In the bottle it looks so dark and glittery. So I had to give it some undies. I chose Tip Top Fairy Dust as the base colour. I then used two coats of Essence Time for Romance. This polish does have a jelly-ish polish look to it though , and even though I don't always like jelly-ish looking nail polishes I really like the outcome . I have no idea why my ...

Tip Top : I luv Denim Light Blue

Hi guys. Finally weekend ! Yippee. Been a long week . Hopefully everyone has some fun weekend plans . Today I'm going to show you Part 1 of my Tip Top I luv Denim - the lighter blue-ish colour polish of the two. This colour is super easy to work with. Its also my favourite of the two colours. I used one coat op Tip Top I luv Denim (light ) and used a Top Coat. You don't need a top coat for these colours, but as I know I'm going to be to busy to fix any chips, I'm using one. This colour applied like a dream, and dried pretty quickly even before the top coat. I love that the colour has a light hint of sparkle, and really does give a denim effect. Don't you just love this colour ? It looks fantastic especially when wearing jeans and having a fun weekend shopping or chilling . You can buy the Tip Top I luv Denim from any Clicks store for R79,95. ♥
