Pink & Purple Dots

Hi guys ! Hope you are having a great week so far. I'm hating the heatwave we are currently having , makes doing anything unbearable . Today I'm showing you my Tip Top I luv Nails campaign inspired by Back to School. This was quite a while back, but I kept this one in the archives especially for today , as schools are starting again. The requirements for this part of the challenge was one nail had to have a little apple on. I really loved this mani to bits, my favourite nail of course being the piece of paper with the A+ written on. ♥ Thumb - Chalkboard with math problem Index - Ruler Middle - Apple Ring - Piece of paper Pinky - Pencil Again all colours used were Tip Top Colours. What design of these are YOUR favourite ??

Hi guys ! Sorry for no post yesterday, had a little trouble uploading photos onto blogger. :) So here is today's post- A fun Tuesday mani. This mani is inspired by Marta from Chit Chat Nails  . Did I mention this is one of my favourite blogs ?? When I saw this mani Marta did on her blog, I knew I had to recreate the look when I get a similar glitter. Though it's not the same nail polishes, the concept is the same . I started off with 2 coats of Tip Top Melting Marshmallow, and the accent nail two coats of Tip Top Twilight. I then made three dots on each of the pink nails with Twilight. And then used 1 coat of China Glaze Whirled Away over the pink nails. I REALLY love the outcome of this mani, really fun and unique !! This has just the right amount of fun , yet simple enough not to have taken ages. ♥ And I got to use the first of my new polishes , yeah !

My 2012 ended on a sad note, on of our doggies got terribly sick, and had to be put down that morning. So been a little quieter as usual with my posting . Hi guys ! Can you believe that it's the last weekend of 2012 already ? This year has certainly flown by !! Today I'm sharing my fun new years mani. Personally, I LOVE sparkly nails on new years eve, and what better nail polish to use than my Christmas prezzie to myself - China Glaze Glistening Snow. For the accent nails , I used Tip Top Black Forest, and stamped with Konad Special White polish and Konad Plate M65 . I'm just in L.O.V.E with this design ! This is my first mani using the Konad stamping plates, and I'm impressed. ♥ Glitter polish is essential for New Years in my books. And the design is so fun, yet gorgeous at the same time !! Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas so far, and that Santa brought you lots of special goodies ♥ Today I'm sharing my entry for the contest Marta from Chit Chat Nails ran a while back. You had to design an awesome skittlette mani . She got 44 entries in total , and though I didn't win, I had so much fun with this design ! Check out the other designs too Chit Chat Skittlette Mani's  . I really adored this mani, was so sweet and innocent. I used Tip Top Oh La La, Avon Fuchsia Feel and Tip Top Grape to meet you. The dots are Avon Matte Black, and the ribbon a water decal with a random rhinestone I used. Did Santa bring you anything really awesome this year ??

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is enjoying the festive season so far. :) Today I'm showing you my shorter nails too. Nicole from Nail Polish Wars had such a great point I have to admit after the Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting , as another nail blogger, you sometimes freak out if a nail breaks (ESPECIALLY on your blogging hand ). She also made her nails shorter , as losing your nails doesn't even compare to those moms and dad's losing their precious children. As tomorrow being Christmas, I felt I needed to post a mani on my shorter nails too in support of the parents and loved ones of those killed in the shooting. I used two coats of Tip Top Fairy Dust, and made a little Green dot on every nail with Tip Top We have an agreenmint .
