Avon Artistique Iris Fetiche

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How has your week been so far? Mine has been super busy still ... luckily Alex is at school this week which means I got a little more time on my hands to finish some of my work and catch up on some projects.  I was lucky enough to get sent the Avon Artistique Iris Fetiche new fragrance in June to try out and review. They brought out 3 new collector perfumes that are made of the highest quality ingredients and each scent is made in a unique collaboration with a French perfumer.  The three scents in the range are  Artistique Magnolia en Fluers : A symphony of Chinese Magnolias - first used in perfumery by Maurice Roucel - and vibrant dewy notes jubilantly sing from the soul of this joyful scent. Marking the arrival of spring, this creation captures the splendour of blossoming magnolias at sunrise. I received a sample to try out of this scent too - but I have mentioned a few times before - while I enjoy scents and perfumes - super f...

{Subscription Service Review & Reveal } June Kids Book Club Book Unboxing

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How has your week been? My last two weeks have been crazy busy  - some days I don't know if I'm coming or going. Alex has school every second week where he actually goes back to school - giving me a little time to catch up on some work and blogging. I hate running on little sleep and lots of coffee ... so I'm trying to watch some series and do some knitting in my off time at home this week.  Today I'm sharing our June Kid's Book Club Books with you.   As I mentioned here many times before- Alex does read every night before bedtime - this is a strong rule we stick to every night. He loves reading and he often walks around with a fact book or Encyclopedia in his hand reading everyone facts about volcanoes, dinosaurs or the human body. I love that  Kids Book Club  send us a cute book, an activity something and a cute bag every month. April's theme is Easter super cute too. These bags are awesome if you go shopping to th...

Subscription Service Review & Reveal} Lingerie Letters June Unboxing

Hi guys! Happy Friday!   How are you doing with the lock-down? I'm getting into the swing of things of working from home and going into the office. Alex has orientation day next week Monday and then he starts going to school every second week. I won't lie - my mommy heart has a few mixed feelings over it but I know he misses his friends and teachers.  Today I'm sharing the June Lingerie Letter I got. I stopped my subscription end of May due to work being so uncertain at the time - but my bestie secretly gifted me the June subscription. Thanks again so much Siobhan! You know I love the subscription and I'm honestly glad I have another month to add to my collection.  Honestly, there is nothing more empowering than gorgeous pretty underwear. But don't fret - I will be rejoining very soon and sharing my pairs with you guys.  So what is Lingerie Letters if you are new here? It's a Proudly South African based company that sends you a pretty pair of under...

{NAILS} Avon ColorTrend Confetti Nail Effect Range & Swatches

Hi guys! Happy Monday. How are you doing? Last week was absolutely draining ... I have no idea how I survived work and homeschooling ... but luckily I had Sunday off to recharge and have some quality family time with my kiddo and dad. We did an awesome Father's Day lunch for him ... had tons of hot chocolate and cookies and Alex played Fortnite while I worked on crafting projects. Now if you follow me on my socials it's no secret that I love good nail polish. I picked up two of the colours before we went into lockdown - and the moment we could order any beauty products again I got the remaining four colours just in case they decided to change levels again and ban them. I loved them that much. You might have seen me wearing some of the colours already - and honestly, I love when a brand does an amazing glittery polish like this. There are 6 colours in total and I have them all - so I can share some swatches with you. First up is Lemon Tart -  A pastel yellow with go...

Revlon Kiss Glow Lip Oil

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How has your week been so far? Mine has been a little crazy - still getting into the groove of working from home and going into the office and managing homeschooling in between. Which can get a little hectic at times.  Now as I mentioned - I only go into the office two full days a week and one afternoon at this stage - so most days when I go work from home I still do make-up - light BB Cream, definitely eyes and then a lip balm or lip oil especially when I know my day involves a video call or I just want to feel pretty the day. Most days I do use normal lip balms - but on days I prefer to feel pretty and look a little more put together ( because on workdays no one can see your lips under a mask - so wearing a pretty gloss or lip oil is pointless), I love these Revlon Kiss Glow Lip Oils.  The Revlon Glow Lip Oil provides sheer coverage, for a glowing natural shine with a subtle hint of colour. Deep nourishment and comfortable colour. Lip cond...

I'll have to get used to the new schedule I have. Today I'm sharing our May Reading Edition Themed Kids Bookclub with you. Luckily Kids Book Club was able to deliver in Stage 4 - so we got a bonus package of our May & June books. Alex was so excited when he saw the delivery stop and feeling the package was bigger than usual.  As I mentioned here many times before- Alex does read every night before bedtime - this is a strong rule we stick to every night. He loves reading and he often walks around with a fact book or Encyclopedia in his hand reading everyone facts about volcanoes, dinosaurs or the human body. I love t...
