{SKINCARE} Some Filorga Minis I Tested

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday. How has your week been? The last few weeks has been pretty crazy and intense this side - but I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

A week or two ago I won a Filorga giveaway the lovely ForTheBeautyOfIt ran on her Instagram page and I was one of the lucky three winners to get gifted some products. Honestly - I have never tried anything from the brand so I was EXTREMELY excited to try it . And it came just before the Woman's Day long weekend - and for a change, I had the Saturday off so it was the perfect time to play and try out new products. Yeah!

I'm splitting up the minis reviews into two batches - these are the first products I tested out so far -

Filorga Anti-Aging Micellar Solution & Meso-Mask

So let me start with the Micellar Water. It's a pretty decent Micellar water - didn't burn or sting my eyes which is always a bonus. Overall - I wasn't blown away by the Micellar water - but it did a decent job of removing my make-up and mascara.

The Meso-Mask is such a good mask! Honestly - wow! It's hydrating and soothing and gives the skin a bit of a glowy radiance. I loved using this at night time - but on my work from home mornings - I will take a shower, pop on the mask, enjoy a warm cup of coffee and then continue with my skincare and my skin would be glowy and hydrated all day long. Yeah! If I ever win the lotto I will definitely be stocking up on the full size of this mask.

Filorga Time Filler Absolute Wrinkles Smoothing Cream and Optim-Eyes eye contour cream

I was seriously impressed with the Smoothing Cream - again another WOW. When I started using it my skin was raw from flu and constant sniffles and wearing a mask - so I used this cream both morning and night time and my skin has been hydrated, happy and yes - I might even say after two weeks of using it I have fewer wrinkles even. Yeah! This is such a gem and I will really have to look into this gorgeous cream as well.

The eye cream is formulated to combat dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. I have been battling with some dark circles (nothing intense but enough for me to notice it ) and I have to say this has helped with the darkness - I don't feel like I look like a zombie anymore. Which is always a good thing in my books.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the range so far and excited to try the last few minis I have and review them here as well.

Have you tried anything from the brand before?

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
