My Top 5 Stand-out Products for 2020

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. Hope you are having a great week so far.

Today I'm sharing a round-up of the most magical stand-put products of 2020 that I discovered. Some I have done a full-on review on the blog - and others will have a review on soon - but none the less these products are all pretty magical in my eyes.

The 5 products that made my 2020 list are :

  • Filorga Lift Structure Ultra Lifting Rosy Glow Fluid
  • Filorga Flash- Nude Pro Protection Tinted Fluid SPF30
  • Swiitch Beauty WaterGel serum
  • Swiitch Beauty Super Hero Spray - Glass Skin Edition
  • Ellips Purple Nutri Colour Treatment Hair Capsules

First up is the Ellips Purple Nutri Colour Treatment Hair Capsules :

After hearing Simone on an Instagram rave about these little gems over and over - I decided to take the plunge and try them too - and boy am I glad I did. These are little magical capsules filled with a serum to treat a range of hair concerns -  even though I don't colour my hair at this stage -  I prefer the Purple capsules. The little capsule contains more than enough product for even my thick long hair - and gives it the extra boost of hydration it needs for looking healthy and vibrant. I do heat style my hair every day - and these little capsules make sure my hair stays looking healthy and strong. I buy mine from either Clicks or Takealot - and now that I know I love them I prefer the huge container with the 50 tablets in.

This product is such a great skincare winner. My skin started getting extremely dry and dehydrated the last few years - and since discovering this serum it's a thing of the past. This gorgeous serum I use morning and nighttime for an extra boost of hydration - and boy oh boy isn't my skin happy with the results. This with the Glass Skin serum makes my skin super healthy - glowy and since it's Korean based skin care - my skin hasn't been happier. I hardly get any breakouts and my skin looks amazing and healthy in the first time in forever.

Another amazing product is the Filorga Flash Nude Pro Perfection Fluid SPF 30 -
I use the colour 00 Ivory and have done a full review on this magical foundation HERE if you missed it.

In short - this is such a gorgeous light to medium coverage foundation with AMAZING skincare benefits - the skincare benefits alone makes this such a stand out product.

So, all in all, you get a high protection formula (UVA + UVB) with anti-pollution protection and niacinamide (which I recently discovered is an amazing product to use in my skincare routine to even out skin tone and texture )

You really are left with flawless healthy-looking skin thanks to amazing skincare benefits and a gorgeous glowy foundation.

This is a magical Korean skin mist that tightens pores, evens out skin texture & leaves you with luminous, glass-like skin. The key ingredients are niacinamide  which supports the skin barrier and improve the skin texture (I'm also 100% convinced this helps me get fewer break-outs - yeah !)

They do have another skin spray - but this one is by far much for magical and my skin just adores this formula. Again - Korean skincare is a winner for a reason and this is no exception.

And last but not least - the Filorga Lift Structure Ultra Lifting Rosy Glow Fluid

I did a full review HERE - but a little rundown on this magical skin brightening day cream that makes dull skin disappear -  Plasma Lifting Factors - cellular factors + collagen + hyaluronic acid, provide visibly redefined fine lines, fill the skin for a smoother effect, and plumps up the skin.

This magical cream also corrects completion irregularities and the universal rosy shade provides a healthy glow for all skin tones. This is basically a face-lift in a bottle - which is always a win in my books.

Overall - all these are products that are worth looking into for 2021 - they are all worth the hype and magical products.

What are some of your stand-out products for 2020 ??

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
