My Picks from the New Essence Limited Edition What's Your Fruit Mood? range

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday. How has your week been? This will be another crazy busy week for me personally - but I had to get my butt back into gear and do a few posts again as I have been picking up quite a few new products to test and review.

Today I will share my picks from the new Essence Limited Edition range called What's Your Fruit Mood? range. This range includes 6 products - a watermelon fan, jelly primer, mini setting spray, grapefruit lip balm, mini scented nail polish and a refreshing body spray. As I didn't require all the products - I picked the three that I felt would be fun to try and suit what I needed.

In my case, it was the awesome watermelon fan, the jelly primer and mini-setting spray.

What's your Fruit Mood watermelon fan R66

I love using a mini fan along with my setting spray as it makes sure it dries quickly and gives me a boost of cool air too.

I love watermelon so the pattern is a total winner  I can really recommend it if you like using a fan with setting spray.

Again this is also super affordable and REALLY REALLY cute.

essence what's your FRUIT MOOD? mini fixing spray R47

Now I will be honest - I knew this was a mini fixing spray - but I was a little surprised how small this setting spray was.

But that aside - I do generally love Essence fixing sprays and this one is no exception. It doesn't leave your skin tight at all - and sets your make-up in place beautifully.

This is a scented fixing spray - but I can't really pick up any overwhelming scent here. It gives a fresh fruity scent and then disappears - and even me with all my strong scents issues loves this.

Again as with fixing sprays - I generally adore Essence primers as well.

This jelly primer has a fun jelly consistency - and blends into the skin easily. It doesn't leave a colour tint on the skin or any scent-  this is supposed to smell like watermelon but it is pretty scentless if you ask me.

Overall - if you are in the market for a good hydrating primer that makes your make-up look flawless - this is a pretty good affordable option.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with the three products I picked up from the range. I just couldn't justify another lipbalm and the nail polish colour was pretty normal looking in my opinion - and I don't do body sprays so that didn't interest me at all.

Did any of the products from this range catch your eye ??

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
