{Subscription Service } Goodleaf CBD Water Soluble Powders Subscription Service

Hi guys! Happy Thursday. How has your week been? I'm not going to lie - the last two weeks has been insanely busy with my students writing exams and needing all the extra help possible. And with Covid cases climbing - I have an extra big workload for the next two weeks too.

This is one of the main reasons why I picked up the Goodleaf Water Soluble CBD Powder Sachets last month. You can decide to either get them as a once-off thing or a subscription (and save a little extra ). I decided to give it a good solid three months to try out and this month is my second month.

Now not only does this subscription include the product - you get some monthly motivation too - this month's theme is Gratitude (which came at the perfect time for me ). They include some amazing charities you can support - and gives you some extra motivation to remember each day about something you are grateful for. This month my freebie was the CBD hand cream as well (and the value of that alone is more than my subscription alone !).

Now some more info on the CBD Water Soluble Powder Sachets :

Get your daily dose of calm with convenience by mixing our water-soluble CBD powder into your favourite hot drink or smoothie.

Each box contains 20 CBD sachets and each sachet contains 10mg of CBD.
Recommended maximum daily dose = 20mg CBD (2 sachets).

Helps to provide relief from anxiety, sleep issues, chronic pain and inflammation, as well as various other health conditions and concerns.

I personally prefer mixing the sachet into my water bottle. I personally know it's helped me stay sane the last few weeks - my day starts off at 04h00 and I usually only get home after 18h00 and then I have to tackle all the mommy duties and home duties. And then usually I have study notes and class prep things to work on for the next day.  So this is that little boost for me to not get close to a mental breakdown.

The freebie this month was a gorgeous CBD Hand Cream that contains 120mg CBD. It's also in a lovely Kalahari Melon and Marula oil scent - not something super overpowering. I do have some early-onset arthritis issues and I hope this will help from doing all the extra exam prep for my students. It's extremely hydrating without leaving your hands greasy and yucky.

I loved the May and June ones so far .. and excited to see what to work on in July.

If you are interested in my subscription service :

I pay R156 ( delivery included ) for my monthly box - and the hand cream add one alone was worth R295.

Do you have any new monthly subscriptions you are trying ??

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
