{Product Review} Filorga Skin- Illuminating Even Skin Tone Cream

Hi guys! Happy 2022! I hope you all had an amazing break and are ready to tackle this new year. I for one is soooo happy 2021 is over and done with - and hoping 2022 brings everything magical.

In December the lovely Filorga sent me one of the products from their new Skin- Unify Range. As you know I love all things Filorga and this brand is 100% worth the splurge to keep you looking amazing and tackling ageing gracefully. And let's be honest - that's always a bonus. While I don't mind ageing - I definitely want to keep looking as young as possible for as long as possible.

Over 200 million women worldwide are affected by pigmentation concerns and the Skin Unify range was designed to reduce dark spots and reveal even radiant skin.

This range is perfect for women who want to treat dark spots, uneven complexion and lack of radiance - and let's be real after December we all need a little radiance for going back to work.

So how does the is magical range work?

This whole range is inspired by laser treatments, chemical peels and medical strobing.

Vitamin C is combined with glabridin (which is a liquorice root extract) to work in combination on the synthesis of melanin - the pigment mainly responsible for dark spots.

Algae extract from Cystoseira tamariscifolia and act on both melanin production and the degradation of melanosomes, the vesicles that contain melanin.

A high molecular weight hyaluronic acid is also encapsulated in this helps penetrate the deepest layers of the skin and gradually supply the hyaluronic acid to plump the skin at the deepest layers. This helps to keep skin fullness restored and you are left with smoother and brighter skin.

Now onto this gorgeous cream now that you know a little more about the range. The Skin Unify Illumating Even Tone Cream has powerful active ingredients deep within the skin. This cream also contains optical soft-focus agents that melt into your skin to provide a more even complexion. I love how luxurious and creamy the texture is and that it just melts into the skin. It gives you a boost to look more awake and radiant as well ( which is always a bonus if you feel tired from running around and being back at work ). This cream has really helped me look and feel a lot more awake and glowing - and since I do suffer from dark spots as well I love that I know this is treating those issues as well.

The Skin Unify Illumating Even Tone Cream retails for R1020 and is totally worth the investment if you struggle with dark spots. I could see small changes in my bigger darker spots in less than a week.

Are you excited about 2022? Any special New Years Resolutions?

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
