Hi guys! Happy Monday. How was your weekend? Lush is celebrating the 30th year of the invention of the first ever bath bomb by Lush co-founder Mo. Constatine. For this special celebration, they are launching 16 new limited edition bath bombs ( 14 will be in store but there are 2 special online-only ones too ) Bath bombs are more than just a pretty smelling treat. I find each one has its own benefits. Some like florals scents while other's prefer a citrus scent. Hi guys! Happy Monday and Happy middle of April! So it's been almost forever since I did I post here on the blog - I did have some content scheduled but I deleted it as it was a "What's in my Make-Up" bag for travelling as we had a family holiday scheduled middle of March.  Sadly ... the day before we were due to leave - my Mother sadly passed away from a heart attack. This was very sudden and has been such a devastation for me and my family. My mom has always been my rock in my life - so I really took it very hard.  I would like to thank each and everyone who sent me messages of love and support on social media at this time too - I really appreciate each and every message I received. To be honest, I didn't have any issues with turning 33 this year - but I just couldn't bring myself to celebrate this year as my birthday was so close to her passing away and her funeral. Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far ?? Today I am sharing some new Revlon favourites I've been using a lot lately. Some of them I have discovered the end of December last year and some are new loves that popped into my routine.  Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Matte Foundation 150 Buff This is one of the latest foundations from Revlon. I knew I already loved the colourstay foundation range in general - so I was really excited when Takealot had this foundation on sale last year and picked one up. This is a 24hour wear foundation that promises no caking or fading, that's lightweight and blends seamlessly. And I have to agree on those statements (although I never wear foundation that long). This has been my go-to foundation the last few weeks since my skin has been acting up a little in this heat. It's a good medium coverage foundation - and I love how this doesn't cling too much on dry patches - but looks flawless and doesn't go into fine line...

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How has your week been so far? Mine has been super busy at work - and home life has finally settled down a bit again too.  As promised in my 2019 post - I want to do more kids related posts on the blog too. Today will be the first post. Reading in our home is a big deal. I have tons of kids book and I add to them regularly. We make a point that no matter what to read a book every night. Alex was one of the Top 10 Readers in his Grade last year and as an educator myself, I can't stress the importance of reading. I prefer to keep these books in my little (although it's not so little anymore Library short and sweet stories - so I know it won't take us more than 10 minutes to read.) He does, however, have his own bookcase with books he can read anytime he feels like reading. Hi guys! Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We had a bit of a rough week last week - not only the usual daily routine stuff but Alex slipped and fell in the bath and now has a major gash just beneath his bottom lip and a chipped tooth. Fun ... (not) Wet n Wild is a brand I haven't tried out too much. I do have the eyeshadow primer I got last year and LOVED ( and it's still one of my favorite eyeshadow primers). When the Wet n Wild photo focus foundations came out last year everyone raved about it. When I saw they were available on Clicks I couldn't wait to order some goodies.
