My three picks from the New Tip Top Range

Hi guys ! Hope you had a great weekend ! Mine was pretty busy, it's my little guy Alex's birthday this week Sunday, so was busy getting the last party goodies. A little earlier this month, I popped into Clicks after the lovely Desle shared a photo on Instagram HERE  (if you are not following her already, then pop over and follow her too!) of some new Tip Top polishes. They had a 3 for 2 special.. So I picked up three of their lovely new glittery polishes. These look like indie polishes , and it's such a nice surprise to their collection. Sadly, Tip Top is being discontinued, so if you like any of these shades... RUN !! to Clicks and stock up on these beauties. I only got 3 of the 6 in this collection, there is a purple, orangey red and a black one too.  So onto these beauties - Tip Top Milkyway - This is a gorgeous white polish filled with some colourful glitters - yellow, green , orange, light blue, dark blue and red. Application was great, I used 2 coats of T...

Top 3 Cuticle Oils / Butter

Hi guys ! Hope you had a great weekend . Mine was pretty busy, but still enjoyed the break. Today I'm sharing my 3 Favourite Cuticle Oils / Creams with you guys. I always get a lot of questions to which products I use to keep my cuticles hydrated , and although I have a few more but THESE are my 3 Top ones I reach for the most on a day to day basis.   Lush Lemon Flutter Cuticle Butter This is a cult classic , and with good reason. This is my favourite cuticle butter / cream. You only use a TINY amount to cover all 10 fingers. ( My tub lasted me about 7/8 months ) This is quite greasy though, so I would recommend you use this just before bedtime or if you know you won't need to touch your phone / computer ect. It does a wonderful job of keeping cuticles hydrated.  And it smells like lemons... Yummy !   Tip Top Cuticle Oil This really is liquid gold, this is hands down one of my favourite cuticle oils . It's amazing to keep your cuticles ...

Lapelle Issue 7

See what is in the latest issue of Lapelle Magazine, there are also many prizes to be won.   http://www.lapelle.co.za/issue7.php?id=1154 One of the articles in the magazine this month is about what is bad for your skin. UNDER MY SKIN 10 EVERYDAY THINGS THAT ARE BAD FOR YOUR SKIN 1. Sleeping with make-up on Apart from the chemicals and potential allergens in some make-up brands, not washing it off before bed  has devastating effects, such as clogging pores, disrupting natural repair and shedding (renewal), and  drying out skin, leading to accelerated breakdown of collagen and elastin and even oxidative stress. Trust us: wash your face, every night. 2. Drinking – and eating – too little water Without water, skin dehydrates, gets damaged and ages quickly. Every cell in your body needs water to  metabolise normally, which is why the eight glasses a day rule is one to live by. But there also seems to  be some eating more water-rich fo...

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday ! Hopefully you are all having a great week, I'm so glad it's finally a little cooler this morning (And I LOVE the rain )... The heat was killing me. So today I will be reviewing 2 great Juliette Armand masks that is PERFECT to get you back into the work mood. First off - The Exfo Line Mask : This mask boosts the skin's natural defence system and helps the skin regain it's natural balance , smoothness & texture. This is a GREAT anti-ageing mask , as well as a great gentle exfoliating mask after a peel. The mask goes on pink with little black beads , and dries clear (with the little beads still visible.) I have been using this mask for over a month now, and I find it perfect when your skin feels a little dry / dull and needs a boost.  Mud Heilmoor Mask : This is a GREAT firming mud mask - it contains special mud from  Reichenau – Austria with healing properties, It contains amino acids that helps  alleviates irritation ...
