My Current Morning Skincare Routine

Hi guys ! Happy Monday. How was your weekend ??? Today I am sharing my current skincare routine with you . Some of these products only recently came into my life - some are firm favourites but I'm sharing what I use today and why I love these products. For reference my skin is usually normal / combo in summer , but in winter my skin is a mess. I suffer from extremely dry dehydrated skin that gets dry patches super easily especially since it's cold and flu season and I have been sick quite a lot in the last few weeks. Justine Oil Control Face Wash  I already did a full review on the whole Justine Oil Control range  HERE  - but this face wash has stayed a firm favourite in my routine. I'm already on my second bottle and have a back up ready. As I mentioned yes my skin is currently a lot drier and dehydrated - but this face wash doesn't irritate my skin and keeps any blemishes at bay yet gives me an effective deep cleanse morning and evening.  Sorbet Hydro...

{Beauty Tools Edition} Sorbet Hydro Skin Silicone Facial Cleanser

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been ? Today I'm sharing the second part of my Beauty Tools Edition Post - if you missed the first part all about Jade Rollers you can read it  HERE . Facial cleansing tools are all the rage - and with good reasoning. It helps your regular cleansing products to work better for healthier , glowing skin.  In April I bought myself the Sorbet Hydro Skin Silicone Facial Cleanser on sale (who doesn't love a good Clicks sale ! )  as I loved that it used batteries instead of needing to be charged like my previous Sorbet Facial Cleanser. I also loved the fact that this one doesn't need replacement bristles every few weeks . The Sorbet Hydro Skin Silicone Facial Cleanser helps ensure blemish-causing impurities are gently cleansed away - which will not only improve the absorption of all your other skincare products , but help leave your skin looking clearer , healthier and glowing. This one has an adjusting pulsation intensit...

My Top 6 Pink Polishes for Valentines day

Hi guys. Happy Thursday. Sorry for the silence on the blog - last week was crazy busy with my little guy's 8th birthday and I am off sick this week - but hopefully I'll be feeling better soon and posting more.  Today I will be sharing some o/f my favourite pink nail colours for Valentines day . I love wearing pink nail polishes in general - and especially in the month of L-O-V-E I try and wear as much pinks as possible. Today I will be sharing 6 awesome choices (although one is a glitter with more than just pink glitter in - but it's such an awesome option too )  Next week I will be sharing some of my favourite pink products with you guys too - so keep an eye out for that post on Monday . Avon BB 7-1 Nail Colour in Perfect Pink I already did a full review  HERE  but this is such a perfect soft pink for a date night - it's perfection in my books. This colour covers imperfections and smoothes ridges - and cares for your nails - so it doesn't just look pret...

My Current Nailcare Routine

Hi guys. Happy Tuesday . How has your week been ? Back at work already or only from today / next week ?? I have a meeting at work on Friday but I'll only be back back at work from next week. My good friend Siobhan convinced me to do the whole #52weeknailchallenge this year (we did the last 4 themes together last year December ) and I decided to do a post on the current products I'm loving for doing my nails. These will include the basics... cuticle oil , base coat , top coat , polish remover and hand creams and hand sanitizers.   So let me jump into my current favourites and why I love them : Sorbet Condition Nail Polish Remover with Lavender Oil Acetone I have mentioned my love for this nail polish remover before ... but this one has to be my favourite. The scent isn't that strong ( which I did find with the more floral ones in the range) yet it removes polish really quickly without drying out your nails too much. I really love the pump bottle on it too . This m...

Inoar Hair Botox Treatment Lowdown and Review

Hi guys. Happy Friday. Today is FREEZING - I'm on my third cup of coffee for the day already . How was your week ? Any fun weekend plans ? Last Sunday I was lucky enough to be invited to try out the new Inoar Hair Botox treatment at Sorbet Dunkeld . As I mentioned before I love the Inoar Absolute Blond range so I was excited to try this treatment - as my hair can always do with a boost. I take great pride in looking after my hair and trying to keep it in tip top condition - especially taking extra steps since going blonder. So ... What is the Inoar Hair Botox treatment ? This is a hair treatment containing fatty acids , argon oil , Shea butter , hydrolysed keratin and grape extract . The treatment is rich in Vitamin A , C and E which will help protect your hair . It's also rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals.  The treatment is pretty easy and not too time consuming - Your hair gets washed, the treatment applied for 30 minutes and then rinsed out.  ...

My Top 5 Cuticle Care Products to Survive Winter

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . Everyone have a great weekend ? As winter is slowly approaching , our skin gets drier quicker - I know my cuticles get really dry with constant hand washing , the heaters being on in the office - and it being freezing most mornings. Today I will be sharing my Top 5 Cuticle Care products - because nothing ruins a manicure faster than dry crusty cuticles. Cuticle oils / creams also helps your manicure last better - as dry nails doesn't hold nail polish as well as hydrated nails.  I have mentioned some other ones I love in previous posts too ... But these are the 5 I am reaching for the most lately. Some are old favourites - and some new discoveries.  Essence Nair Care Serum I have mentioned it in THIS post from two weeks ago , and as you can see my bottle has been used a lot since then . I love popping this little bottle of serum into my work bag, and while taking a coffee break pop some onto my cuticles and ma...

My Secret to Soft Hydrated Hands

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . How was your weekend ? If you follow me on Instagram , you would have seen I bought the Sorbet Moisture Infusing Socks a while back -  TAKE A LOOK HERE  . A few days after posting that photo and after the lovely Martie from  LivingLightley  mentioned that she loved the socks and gloves, I decided to go back to Clicks and get the gloves - and I'm so glad I did ( They were on special too - bonus ! )  Sorbet is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands ... I haven't found a product from them I don't love.  I'm already a big fan of all the Sorbet Hand Creams - my favourite being the Age Control one ( pink ) and the Hydrating one ( Orange ) , so I had big hopes for the gloves. The gloves has a layer of gel inside, making sure your hand cream doesn't go to waste and every last drop get soaked up by your skin. I have to be real - the first time you put these gloves on they feel super creepy and gross , especially with...

Sorbet Hydrating Serum Mask Soothing

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! Hope you all had a great week. My week was super busy, but eventful . As I mentioned on Wednesday post, my skin goes crazy in winter. It goes scaly and flaky so quickly ... And I REALLY hate it. So in winter time I try as much as I can to boost my skin with hydrating serums and masks. As always, Clicks has amazing specials from time to time , their 3 - 2 specials, and when I picked up some Sorbet skincare goodies, I decided to get some sachet masks from Sorbet. I usually get these masks when I travel or go on holiday (or when my skin needs a boost from time to time ) , as it contains a serum to apply first, and then a sheet mask (which looks scary the first ) and comes in this easy to use pouch . This time I got 3 different masks ( I usually just get the hydrating one , so keep an eye out for a review on the other two later the month ) As mentioned, this mask has a 2 step system. The top part has a serum, which you open and massage into your skin for abou...

SLEEPWEEK : Sorbet Sleep Rescue Sleepy Bliss Pillow Spray

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday !  Keeping with SLEEPWEEK this week, I'm sharing another great bedtime inspired product , that I just REALLY love - The Sorbet Sleep Rescue Sleepy Bliss Pillow Spray.  I must admit I'm a little obsessed with this spray, each night before bedtime I give my pillows and bedding a few sprays of this spray, and I know I will get into bed feeling relaxed. This sprays a fine lavender scent , and luckily doesn't stain or leae your pillows / bedding damp . (Which is a huge bonus )  The whole Sorbet Sleep Rescue range is REALLY amazing, but this is the stand out product of the range for me.  The Sorbet Sleep Rescue Sleepy Bliss Pillow Spray is one of the first pillow sprays I used that doesn't have that artificial lavender smell. The blend of lavender and chamomile in this spray is perfection . The smell of this magical spray helps you relax and gently helps you drift off to sleep. I even use this on Alex's pillow at night time . I'm ...

Hi guys . Hope you had a great week. It's my birthday on Friday, so I'm pretty excited for this week to end... Hee hee hee Today I'm sharing another set from Sorbet - The Sorbet Riviera set. This set contains 3 polishes and a sparkling glitter topper - perfect for the autumn and winter weather heading this way. This set is SUPER pretty .  So onto the polishes -  Sorbet - Chic Me Baby  Sorbet Chic Me Baby is a gorgeous chocolate brown polish. I was surprised - I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. I used two coats of Sorbet Chic Me Baby in the swatch. Sorbet Deep Sea -  Sorbet Deep sea is a gorgeous blue - purple colour. It looks a lot more blue in the bottle than on the nail. I used 2 coats of Sorbet Deep Sea in the swatch . Sorbet Red Light - Sorbet Red Light is a gorgeous cherry red. I don't really like reds, but these Sorbet reds are really changing my mind. I used two coats in the swatch . Sorbet Sparkling Reverie This is ...
