New On My Beauty Desk - June

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . Hope you had a great weekend ! June so far has been a pretty exciting month blog wise. I have so many new goodies that landed on my beauty desk that will all get their own dedicated posts ... But today I'm sharing some of the thing I picked up so far. (And luckily I'm impressed with most of them so far - yeah ! ) Avon ANEW Transforming Cleansing Balm With the colder months upon us I really love using a Cleansing Balm. I mentioned the Pink Cosmetics one  HERE  in my March Monthly favourites and when I saw Avon came out with a new one I knew I had to try it. This one is a more balmy formula - I love how it is unscented and does an amazing job at removing make-up. The balm is a little bit of a harder formula - but yet again a little does go a long way. I do prefer this one a little more as I feel my eyes don't sting for a second or two after removing my mascara as it does with the other one.  Avon ANEW Perfect Skin Instant Blurring Treatmen

Disappointing Products

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! How has your week been ? Today I am sharing some disappointing products with you guys. I know disappointing product posts can sometimes get a little negative - if these products work amazing for you please leave me a tip how you perhaps use it differently  - because let's be real no one wants to buy make-up to unhappy about it . HudaBeauty #FauxFilter Foundation in 100B Milkshake  You have no idea how excited I was about this foundation when I ordered this from Cult Beauty . I read so many great reviews that I couldn't wait to try it. It looks so high end and even looking at this photo breaks my heart.  Sadly on me this foundation doesn't work at all. The scent didn't bother me - but oh boy ! It feels heavy on my skin (like I am wearing a THICK layer of foundation ) ... but doesn't make me look flawless sadly. I feel my BB Cream gives me better coverage (although it could be because I used a beauty blender ) . I wish it didn'

My Picks from the Essence Counting Stars Collection

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . Hope you are having a lovely week so far.  A little while back I was browsing Takealot and I saw this cute little collection . The collection has lippies , eyeshadows , make-up application tools , hair ties and gorgeous nail goodies. From what I can gather this is a limited edition range exclusive to Takealot as I haven't seen it in store yet.  From the collection though only a few items jumped out at me . A lipgloss , the two lippies and an eyeshadow palette.  Essence Counting Stars Highlighter and Eyeshadow Palette 01 Make Your Own Magic R59 This is a gorgeous mini nude palette with three gorgeous colours . Online it does look more pink so don't be fooled into thinking this is a more rosey palette. The colours are SUPER buttery , creamy and blendable - these eyeshadows literally blend themselves . The highligter is a gorgeous more golden toned highlight that can easily work on the skin too - the reason I picked this up it is an easy
