Avon Planet Spa The Ayurveda Ritual Collection

Hi guys! Happy Thursday. How has your week been? I got bitten by a poisonous spider last week - so I haven't been having the greatest two weeks later. My poor skin is still recovering from all the poison and constant meds. Today I'm sharing a fun self-care inspired post with you guys. Avon recently launched some more Planet Spa collections (and I have ALWAYS loved this specific range from them ). The Ayurveda Ritual Collection contains three products -  A multi-use Soothe and Balance Oil, Soothe and Balance Body Butter and the Soothe and Balance Face Mask.  Ayurveda means ‘the science of life’ & is inspired by an ancient Indian tradition. Enriched with ‘GOLDEN MILK’ - a soothing blend of Indian turmeric root & coconut milk – this self-care ritual will help nourish your body, mind & spirit while leaving your skin glowing. All three products have an extremely calming and soothing smell and effect on the skin - and is the perfect self-care treat if you can't ge...

My Current Morning Skincare Routine

Hi guys ! Happy Monday. How was your weekend ??? Today I am sharing my current skincare routine with you . Some of these products only recently came into my life - some are firm favourites but I'm sharing what I use today and why I love these products. For reference my skin is usually normal / combo in summer , but in winter my skin is a mess. I suffer from extremely dry dehydrated skin that gets dry patches super easily especially since it's cold and flu season and I have been sick quite a lot in the last few weeks. Justine Oil Control Face Wash  I already did a full review on the whole Justine Oil Control range  HERE  - but this face wash has stayed a firm favourite in my routine. I'm already on my second bottle and have a back up ready. As I mentioned yes my skin is currently a lot drier and dehydrated - but this face wash doesn't irritate my skin and keeps any blemishes at bay yet gives me an effective deep cleanse morning and evening.  Sorbet Hydro...

New On My Beauty Desk - November

Hi guys . Happy Friday. How has your week been ? My week was super busy - my gran ended up being admitted to ICU on Monday - so this week has been crazy busy running from one place to the other. On another note - If you follow me on social media you know I was tempted to colour my hair a different colour for a while now ... and I finally bit the bullet and went back to brunette on Wednesday.  This month I have some awesome new products I am testing to review for you guys. Some are for specific posts I will be doing this month - some are products I really want to try. So without further chatting from me let's jump into the products . Almay Smart Shade Powder Blush in 10 Pink Can we talk for a minute how cute this looks ?? Look at the pretty ombre and the lovely stars ... swoon - this is blush heaven. I will be doing a few top pink items from brands soon - and you can bet this beauty will be featured in that post. The colour is GORGEOUS too.  Avon Mark Liquid Lip La...

Tara & Jack Apple Stem Cell Shaker Mask & Sensitive Skin Mask Review

Hi guys ! Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? A little while back all the bloggers were raving about  TheBeautifulStore  Tara and Jack face masks - and at that stage I was pretty intrigued to try it out myself - but I had tons of sheet masks in my pile and let's be real - I'm a little lazy with masks that needs to be washed off , wiped off or peeled off. But I decided to bite the bullet and just try the masks. When I ordered the Tara and Jack masks where buy any amount get the same amount free. So why not? That makes the masks a better deal since they are pricier (and with good reason - these masks are amazing ). I have in the meantime repurchased a million more of these masks and a few other variants too - but those I will do in a separate review soon.  Tara & Jack Shaker Mask with Apple Stem Cells Okay , I was sceptical about this masks the most. You get sent a little plastic container with your order - and you have to open the sachet, put the powder in...

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . How was your weekend ? I took a little blogging break last week as I had the week of and Alex was on school holiday - so I decided to spend time with family and friends . Today I'm sharing an awesome new mask from REN with you guys - when I got sent the mask earlier in September it came at the perfect time. The mask promises #skinzeninten - and I was keen to try out the claims.  With the season change and me adding a chemical defoliator to my skincare routine once a week , my skin was a little dry and sensitive. Thrown into the mix the daily day to day stress and not drinking enough water - my skin was dehydrated and over sensitive.  The REN Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask is specially developed with REN exclusive complex of original ingredients to combat over sensitivity , this rescue mask will calm , soothe and moisturise helping to instantly alleviate the key signs of sensitive skin. It will increase the skin ability to cope with st...

Lush Ayesha Fresh Face Mask

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! How has your week been ? I am loving the colder weather this week - so I'm taking full advantage while it lasts with scarfs... hot chocolate ... And cuddling with a warm blanket. Did I mention cold weather is my FAVOURITE weather ?? While I was on vacation , I was lucky enough to be close enough to a Lush Store ( YEAH !!) and while I usually only order online - I got the chance to go in and sniff everything ! Let's just say the people working in the Gateway store is some of the coolest people ever.  While I was in-store I knew I had to pick up a Lush Fresh Face Mask , as you can only get them in-store and not online to try. The one I got was Ayesha - and let me tell you I couldn't wait to try it that evening.  As you know - I LOVE skincare products. I feel it's very important to take care of your skin - because let's be real make-up can't cover everything .  This mask might look a little gross in the pot - but don't le...

Avon BB Haircare Range

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . Hope you are having a great week so far. A little while back Avon released a new BB Perfection haircare range, and as always I knew I needed to give it a try. I'm super picky with haircare, I have thick coloured hair , that gets frizzy , but then again can get super greasy quickly.  I was SUPER tempted to try this range, so I decided to go big and try everything in the range. The range includes a shampoo, conditioner , beauty balm and mask. I was scared to get the conditioner, mask and beauty balm, because I know my hair ... It's either going to love it .. or it was going to go down horrible. (To be honest I thought it was going to go horrible.. since I know some products that claims to nourish is too nourishing on my hair ) I was pleasantly surprised when I use these combos together. The shampoo is AMAZING ! Hydrating, but not too hydrating, cleans my hair very nicely and keeps the frizzy hair at bay. The conditioner is nice too ... I like ...
