Halloween Edition 2012 - Pink Polka Dot Pirate

Hi guys ! Happy Halloween for everyone that is celebrating today ♥ Today I'm showing you my NOTD (nail of the day ) , I did especially for my Pink Polka Dot Pirate outfit I'm wearing. This mani is so girly ♥ I used Revlon Fuchsia Fever as my base colour, and dotted with Tip Top Fairy Dust . For the accent nail, I used Tip Top - Grape to meet you, and Avon Matte for the skulls. I used the smart nail templates for the skulls, as I suck at drawing them. ♥ So let me share my Halloween mani with you guys. Again, this is more cute than scary - And since I got a few emails asking if I ever painted my right hands nails too, introducing my ever so shy right hand .. Hee hee hee I have to say, this one is my favourite Halloween one so far, I will be doing two more Halloween inspired mani's tomorrow and Friday too. ♥ What are your thoughts on this mani ?

Halloween Edition 2012- I want my MUMMY !

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a nice day so far.. My day has gotten off to a rough start, my little guy woke up very sick this morning, but luckily he looks better now. So today I'm showing you my mummy inspired mani. Again, I like to make them cute mummies , and not scary ones. ♥ I started off by painting all my nails with Tip Top French Manicure White (the best white nail polish EVER !! ), then sponged some flesh coloured nail polish (Tip Top Meringue Surprise), and then used Black to draw the mummy parts. :) I like the outcome on this one too. Here is the inspiration from Nail Polish Wars I used for my version . Some Mummy Like you ! Hope you guys like this mummy mani as much as I do ! Was really fun to create. Tomorrow I will show some pink girly skulls nails, as I will be dressed as a girly pirate tomorrow. ♥

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend ! I sure did . Did a little shopping, and spend some quality time with my little man. ♥ I hope you all had a nice weekend, and hopefully a stress free week ! Today is the first of my Halloween edition posts I will be doing this whole week. Today I'm starting off with my Frankenstein inspired mani. ♥ So what do you guys think ? I'm really happy with the outcome ! The colours I used were Tip Top Super Trooper, Tip Top We have an agreenmint, French Manicure White, Black Forest, and China Glaze It's Alive and China Glaze Stone Cold. ♥

Insect Inspired Mani ♥

Hi guys ! It's FINALLY Friday, thank goodness. This week has been hectic busy, feels like I need a week holiday after this. My little guy had his Christmas photo shoot yesterday too, luckily that went fantastic. This weekend I need a little shopping , what better way to de-stress :) Today I'm showing you guys the first of my "Halloween"-ish posts. This mani I did quite a while back for the Tip Top I luv nails campaign, but felt it suited a Halloween theme a little better, so kept it aside especially for this time of year. So here is the photos for my insect inspired mani , I used on of my little man's bug toys as a prop :) - I'm not a big fan of bugs in general .. Eeeck ! But this was a fun mani to do. The bee was personally m favourite, followed closely by the spider. The other insects include a dragonfly, ladybugs, and ants (although they look a little funny in the photos.. )

Child Loss Support Mani ♥

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I have to say, I'm loving this rainy weather , and since I have a very busy schedule this week , I LOVE the rain even more. ♥ Today I'm sharing a very special mani with you . As some of you might know, October is also known as Child Loss Support month. Being a mother myself, this is another cause very close to my heart. And even more, since a very special friend , lost her little baby she was pregnant with a few weeks ago , so I decided to dedicate this mani especially to her. For the base colour I used Tip Top Pink About us, and dotted with Tip Top Melting Marshmallow and China Glaze Material Girl (Pink Dots) . For the blue dots I used Tip Top Twilight and China Glaze Liquid Crystal . I hope you guys like this special mani as much as I do. ♥ I will be posting a little extra this week too, with some Halloween inspired nail art.

China Glaze : Flirty Tankini

Hi guys ! Ooh I'm loving the rainy weather over the weekend, I'm a sucker for rainy weather. ♥ Today I'm showing you guys another fun polish from China Glaze. This one is called Flirty Tankini. This lovely polish is part of China Glaze's Summer Neon's collection. It's a beautiful pink, shimmery, bright (but not in-your-face bright) smooth applying polish. I used three coats in the photos below - (Just a hint, if you get any of the summer neon collection, just make sure you use a great base coat, as I've heard these babies can stain!) This really is such a fun vibrant colour to wear . I just loved this colour on my nails, and I'm not a in your face neon nail polish person. What's your favourite colour polish ?

Seche Colour : Enamored

Hi guys ! It's finally weekend ! This week has been a drag , really.. feels like it should have been Saturday morning today... :) Today I'm showing you guys another of the Seche Colour polishes. This one is called Enamored, and is a pink-ish brown. I have to say, this colour is really a chameleon , in different lighting, you can even see some reddish shades too. This was really a fantastic colour, again , a one coater, and dried super fast . I just love this shade, will be perfect for winter time too. And I jazzed it up a bit with a Fimo Nail Art butterfly. I have to say, I am really starting to love the fimo, it can add a little something extra to your mani without even trying so hard ! See how versatile this colour is ? I love the many hidden shades in this little bottle . ♥ Quite magical... And the butterfly just add such a delicate touch to the mani too. The above shown Fimo wheel is full of different cute butterflies. ♥ Hope everyone will have a fan

Nautical Inspired Mani ♥

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a great week so far ! I just wish it would rain a little more, yesterday was way to warm for my liking ... I'm not a big fan of summer. Today I'm showing you guys a nautical inspired mani I did for Tip Top's I luv nails campaign. By far this must be my favourite. You had to have an anchor design somewhere in your design. I just love the cute pirate I did, next week I'll give a tutorial for pirate themed nails for Halloween, as my outfit this year is going to be a pirate .. Arrrgh ! Colours I used: Boston Lights, Meringue Surprise, Melting Marshmallow, Black Forest, French Manicure White, In the Navy, Gold Digger, Traffic Lights, Cherries in The Snow, Rocky Road Glitter and Jazz berry Blue So let me share the pretty pictures - And a photo of the nail polish colours I used: So what do you guys think of this mani ? Isn't it too cute ??

Nubar : Essence

Hi guys. Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend and is ready for this week and I hope you all will have a great one ! Today I'm showing you guys a fantastic nail polish from Nubar. I have to say, this is the first time I tried this brand, and I'm seriously impressed. Not only was the colour awesome , the wear was GREAT too ! And not even to mention the great holographic effect this polish has. Even after three days there was NO chips on my nails (And I type a lot at work ! ) Was really sad to take this colour off my nails, but will be rocking this polish a lot in future posts. So enough rambling on about the polish, let me share the pics with you - Like I mentioned, this is a real beauty to own, and the wear of this nail polish makes it a huge bonus ! Not even to mention the stunning colour, I just love the dusty pink polish ! It's really love at first sight ♥ I bought this nail polish at Clicks on special, this colour was R19,99, but usually the Nubar
