Lilac Stud Mani

Hi guys ! Whoohoo ! It's Friday ! I have another busy weekend planned, but really looking forward to it .  Today I'm sharing another stud mani with you . I recently picked up some Essence studs (This one is called Rock Star ) and I couldn't wait to start using it. I paired it up with a gorgeous Lilac (Essence Hello Marshmallow ) and OPI Alpine Snow and a square golden stud from this set. I painted all the nails this gorgeous lilac, and then dotted with a small dotting tool using the OPI Alpine Snow.  The Essence studs includes some fun silver star studs , as well as the golden squares I used and some silver and gold round studs . I love the variety the included in this pack . These are also self-adhesive, but I preferred to first remove it, since it does stick better to the nail then. So let me share my mani with you - I love how soft and girly this looks, but the stud gives it that something extra . Any fun plans this weekend ?? Do you like using

Revlon - Spring Break

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Mine got off to a bumpy start, but got a little better luckily.  Today I'm sharing another gorgeous nail polish with you. This is from Revlon's Nail Art Chalkboard Nails. These polishes come with a dual ended polish which gives you everything to create fun nail art. The one side is a black matte polish , and the other side a pastel matte striper polish for creating fun designs. For this mani I used 1 coat of the black matte polish and created some fun dots , stripes , heart and a doodly face with the Spring Break pastel green side. Again, since this polish was designed to be matte, I decided to keep it that way. You can always use a matte top coat over the design to prevent the polish from chipping too fast.  Here's the fun mani I created - I really like how it looks like scribbling on a chalkboard !!!  These retail for R89,95 .  How has YOUR week been so far ? *This product/s was

Movember 2013 Mani

Hi guys ! Hope you had an awesome weekend ! Mine was a blast. Just wish it could have been a little longer. *pouty face* Today I'm sharing my Movember mani with you .Not sure what Movember is all about ? Here's some info -  { Movember  (a  portmanteau  word from  moustache  and " November ") is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of  November  to raise awareness of  men 's health issues, such as  prostate cancer  and other male cancers; and associated charities } I think it's another awesome cause to support . So heads up to every man growing a mo and the ladies showing their support on their nails... clothes or accessories  Here's my support mani - For this mani I used  -  Pinky - Essence Here's My Number Ring and Thumb - OPI Alpine Snow with a little moustache man drawn on using Tip Top Black Forest Middle and Index - OPI Extra-Va-Vaganza ! with a China Glaze Matte Magic

OPI - Excuse Moi!

Hi guys ! Hope you are having a fab week ! I seriously cant believe its the 20th already ... In just a little more than a month it's Christmas ! * better get my butt into gear and start my Christmas shopping !!* Today I'm sharing another gorgeous OPI polish with you . This one is from a little older range (The OPI Muppet's range ) and I got it at the OPI sale earlier this year .  Excuse Moi!  is a medium, saturated pink base with multicoloured glitter. The finer glitter is pink and silver. The larger hexagonal glitter pieces are yellow, orange, green, blue, pink, and silver. I love glitters that can get opaque in 2 / 3 coats instead of layering . For the photos below I used 2 coats of OPI Excuse Moi! I loved the colours together. In certain light the pink base does tend to look a little red-ish but for the most part it is a beautiful pink . Here's the photos of this gorgeous beauty - How has YOUR week been so far ?? Do you like glitter n

Nails Inc - Special Effect 3D Glitter Bloomsbury Square

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend ! Mine was a blast ...  Today I'm showing you another Nails Inc beauty . I love the Special Effect 3D Glitters they bought out and this one is no exception.  Bloomsbury Square *swoon* it's such a gorgeous polish ! It is a sheer base packed with fine purple glitter and bigger pink hex glitters. Again this is another VERY DENSE glitter ... I used two coats for the photos below. The formula again was fantastic and dried super fast , it does dry down a little matte but since I prefer my polishes with a top coat I thought it was worth a mention.  Here's this gorgeous beauty -  \ This beauty retails at Edgars and Red Square Stores online for R120 . What did you do this weekend ?

Revlon - Neon Nail Art Pink Glow

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a great week so far . I cant believe we are almost halfway through November ! Seriously this year is almost done and dusted ! Today I'm showing you another Revlon polish ... This time its from their Neon Nail Art range . These neon nail art enamels comes with a neon shade and a white base shade.  The white base is to help the "pop" more and make it more neon-y. You first apply one coat of the white polish that's marked 1. Then you apply one coat of the neon side of the polish ( or two in this case ) Pink Glow is a neon pink polish . The formula of the white side of this polish is fantastic. I had some minor hiccups with the pink neon side though. The polish was a little streaky after one coat ... But a second seemed to even it out. The neon also dries matte ... So top coat is needed to make it shiny . (Or keep it matte if you prefer it that way ) This polish was really bright in real life. I'm not the biggest fan of

Essence - Here's My Number

Hi guys ! Hope you had an awesome weekend. Mine was jam packed but fun non the less. Did anyone have super exciting plans ???  This beauty I got on Friday after seeing it on Michelle's blog ( Ordinary Misfit ) and I loved it so when I popped into Deschem on Friday ... I knew I had to check if they had it. I was so happy they had stock that this beauty came home with me. :) Here's my number is    a dark grey base with black and holographic glitters and a fine silver shimmer . The texture is also a little finer than OPI or  China Glaze... But I loved the colour and the sparkle. I used two coats in the photos below - I was really impressed with the formula and this polished lasted through cleaning, kiddies parties and swimming and crafting ! Really impressed . And this won't even break the budget which is a huge bonus . (Especially with saving for Christmas prezzies ) And here's one of my favourite youtube video's (Since one of my guilty pl

China Glaze - This One's For You

Hi guys ! Hope you all had a great week. This is another busy weekend for me.. But really looking glad the week is over. I'm FINALLY feeling better too... Yeah me ! Today I'm sharing another gorgeous nail polish with you . This is from the China Glaze 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness range .  China Glaze This One's For You is iridescent hex glitter in a shimmery pearly base. The base also has a gorgeous pink shimmer in it. It will be perfect to layer over different base colours too . I chose to wear two coats of the polish , so it isn't totally opaque but I loved how girly and sweet it looked.  The formula was amazing. It wasn't too thick but the glitter pay off is pretty good too.  Here's the photos of this gorgeous colour - Anyone got any fun plans for the weekend ? Hope it will be an amazing one non the less.

Today I'm sharing a fun delicate lilac and beige skittlette mani with you . I love the two colours together with the white stamping, it looks so delicate and girly .  Here's the photos of this mani -   For this mani I used :  Pinky - Zoya Godiva Ring and Middle Finger - Tip Top Fairy Dust stamped with Konad with my Salon Express plate 21 for the full stars design Index and Thumb - OPI My Vampire is Buff   These are also some of my favourite polishes all combined into one .  What's your thoughts on more subtle mani's ?
