My Picks from the New Essence Limited Edition What's Your Fruit Mood? range

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday. How has your week been? This will be another crazy busy week for me personally - but I had to get my butt back into gear and do a few posts again as I have been picking up quite a few new products to test and review. Today I will share my picks from the new Essence Limited Edition range called What's Your Fruit Mood? range. This range includes 6 products - a watermelon fan, jelly primer, mini setting spray, grapefruit lip balm, mini scented nail polish and a refreshing body spray. As I didn't require all the products - I picked the three that I felt would be fun to try and suit what I needed.  In my case, it was the awesome watermelon fan, the jelly primer and mini-setting spray.  What's your Fruit Mood watermelon fan R66  I love using a mini fan along with my setting spray as it makes sure it dries quickly and gives me a boost of cool air too.  I love watermelon so the pattern is a total winner  I can really recommend it if you like usin...

New On My Beauty Desk - June

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . Hope you had a great weekend ! June so far has been a pretty exciting month blog wise. I have so many new goodies that landed on my beauty desk that will all get their own dedicated posts ... But today I'm sharing some of the thing I picked up so far. (And luckily I'm impressed with most of them so far - yeah ! ) Avon ANEW Transforming Cleansing Balm With the colder months upon us I really love using a Cleansing Balm. I mentioned the Pink Cosmetics one  HERE  in my March Monthly favourites and when I saw Avon came out with a new one I knew I had to try it. This one is a more balmy formula - I love how it is unscented and does an amazing job at removing make-up. The balm is a little bit of a harder formula - but yet again a little does go a long way. I do prefer this one a little more as I feel my eyes don't sting for a second or two after removing my mascara as it does with the other one.  Avon ANEW Perfect Skin Instant Blurring Treatm...

Disappointing Products

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! How has your week been ? Today I am sharing some disappointing products with you guys. I know disappointing product posts can sometimes get a little negative - if these products work amazing for you please leave me a tip how you perhaps use it differently  - because let's be real no one wants to buy make-up to unhappy about it . HudaBeauty #FauxFilter Foundation in 100B Milkshake  You have no idea how excited I was about this foundation when I ordered this from Cult Beauty . I read so many great reviews that I couldn't wait to try it. It looks so high end and even looking at this photo breaks my heart.  Sadly on me this foundation doesn't work at all. The scent didn't bother me - but oh boy ! It feels heavy on my skin (like I am wearing a THICK layer of foundation ) ... but doesn't make me look flawless sadly. I feel my BB Cream gives me better coverage (although it could be because I used a beauty blender ) . I wish it didn'...

{Review} Revlon Youth FX

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday ? How was your Heritage day and long weekend if you had one? I still worked on Saturday and I usually have Monday's off - but I enjoyed the little bit of extra time with the kiddo.  A little while back Revlon send me a cute Press Pack with the new Revlon Youth FX line of products. The range includes a forehead primer , foundation , concealer and face and neck primer.  "Revlon Youth FX range of anti-ageing products that dramatically transform the look of lines and wrinkles. Developed with filling and blurring technology, all four products in the range contain a unique combination of soft focus powders that scatter light, blurring imperfections, while micro-spheres fill in wrinkles, making them less visible. Each product works in unison with the others, to ensure you look your very youthful best." I'm 31 , and I love focusing on Anti Ageing products now. I was really excited I was sent the range to try as I love Revlon products - and...

{REVIEW} Avon ColorTrend BB Cream All in One Beauty Balm & Picture Perfect Face Primer

Hi guys ! Happy at Wednesday . How has your week been so far ? Mine has been quite busy- but at least that's a good thing.  I ordered these beauties a few weeks ago - and haven't put them down since. Let's be real - it was not like I needed another primer to add to my collection *rolls eyes* , and I decided I wanted to try their ColorTrend BB cream - I wanted something moisturising since I started using a Retinol serum that's making me have more normal to dry skin at this stage - but that's something for another post and decided to try this little gem from the range too.  The ColorTrend BB Cream all in One Beauty Balm for me personally is such an amazing product - I even pick to use this on days I'm working and not just off days. The coverage is light to medium depending on what beauty tool you use to apply it . A beauty blender will give you a lighter coverage than a brush. My favourite brush to apply it with currently is the Swiitch Beauty F40 Cake It B...

3 Mini Reviews - Catrice Make-Up Edition 01

Hi guys. Happy Friday !  A while back Catrice send me some make-up goodies to try (and I bought some new ones the moment Red Square stocked them online... so be on the look-out for a few reviews on the brands in the next week or two ) , and I'm slowly testing them out at this stage. Today I'm sharing three of those products with you , and my thoughts on each one.  Catrice Prime & Fine Eyeshadow Base The Catrice Prime & Fine Eyeshadow base is a nude eyeshadow base / primer. I really had high hopes, since I LOVE the Essence Eyeshadow base ... But this was a little bit of a let down personally for me. It's a good primer, it does help my eyeshadow last longer, but it's not mind blowing in my opinion . If you're looking for a great eyeshadow base though ... I would recommend the Essence one rather.  Catrice All Round Coverstick Concealer  I'm a big fan of this concealer. The rounded tip makes it easy to apply on trickier places (like to cove...
