Tip Top : I luv Denim Light Blue

Hi guys. Finally weekend ! Yippee. Been a long week . Hopefully everyone has some fun weekend plans . Today I'm going to show you Part 1 of my Tip Top I luv Denim - the lighter blue-ish colour polish of the two. This colour is super easy to work with. Its also my favourite of the two colours. I used one coat op Tip Top I luv Denim (light ) and used a Top Coat. You don't need a top coat for these colours, but as I know I'm going to be to busy to fix any chips, I'm using one. This colour applied like a dream, and dried pretty quickly even before the top coat. I love that the colour has a light hint of sparkle, and really does give a denim effect. Don't you just love this colour ? It looks fantastic especially when wearing jeans and having a fun weekend shopping or chilling . You can buy the Tip Top I luv Denim from any Clicks store for R79,95. ♥

Dotty Wednesday Mani ♥

Hi guys ! Mid-week already . Luckily this week has been pretty calm so far, my mom is going in for a knee opp tomorrow, so I guess things will get a little bit more rushed after tomorrow perhaps. Today I'm going to show you a fun dotty mani I did for today . I used 3 Coats of Tip Top Twilight as my base colour. I then dotted large pink dots ( Tip Top Melting Marshmallow ) and small dots ( Tip Top French Manicure White ) .. I just love the look of this mani. So soft and girly. But enough talking how cute this mani is, here's the photos ... The lovely colours I used : From L-R Tip Top Melting Marshmallow, Tip Top Twilight and Tip Top French Manicure White Don't you just love this dotty mani ? The soft pastel colour polishes I used works so well together, can't stop staring at my nails . You can buy Tip Top Nail Chic colours at Clicks for R39,95 ♥

BYS : Colour Changing Polish Purple Glitter

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a great weekend, it was freezing last night ! Brr !! Thank goodness for a electric blanket or I would be an ice-cube today . Last week I got my BYS colour changing polish I ordered  . I decided to try the Purple Glitter one . The idea sounded quite unique. So was interested to see if it really worked. This particular purple is suppose to change to a pinkish version.  Was pleasantly surprised by the outcome . I used three Coats of BYS Colour Changing Purple Polish and one coat Seche Vite topcoat. The "Purple" version before any colour changing The "Purple" version before any colour changing Here you can see the lighter version colour , the tips are still a purple though  ♥ Another photo of the "Pink" colour changing version Overall, I think this is a pretty unique idea for a polish. As I'm typing now, my nails are dark purple with pink tips. ♥ If you would like to buy some BYS po

I used one coat of Drummer Girl Glitter over Tip Top Fairy dust . ♥ I just love this colour combination, don't you ? Tip Top Nail Chic is available at any Clicks store for R39,95 . ♥

Avon : State of Mind Romantic

Hi guys ! Mid-week , thank goodness ! Been a stressful and busy week so far, hopefully the rest of the week will fly by ! Today I'm going to show you guys a new polish from Avon's State of Mind Colour Trend Collection. This one is called Romantic, and is an awesome pearly colour. This colour was super easy to work with, the brush was so easy to use. I used three coats in the photos below -  The collection has three nail polish colours , and four lip glosses. I also bought the matching lip gloss and another colour lip gloss in the range - Avon State of Mind Nail polish, lip gloss and Serene lip gloss Overall, this is really a nice colour and its super easy to use. These are limited edition colours, so if you want one, make sure to order one soon from your Avon agent ! * To get a more pearly colour , I used Tip Tops Miraculous Results base coat that dries white to enhance the colour of the polish *

Essence : Toffee To Go !

Hi guys. Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend! Today I'm showing you guys a polish from Essence Nude Glam Range. This one is called Toffee To Go ! First off, I have to say, this polish was SUPER thick and streaky. I did thin it out with polish thinners a but, but the streakyness was horrible. And the colour dragged when you put on a second coat, and took forever to dry, even with my Siche Vite topcoat. And that dries any polish instantly basically. But still, the Seche Vite does smooth out the streakyness a bit. And the colour is a very awesome looking nude , if you have time and patience for it to dry. I do like the colour on my nails, it really suits me, I just don't have the time or patience sometimes to wait for a polish to dry , especially since Siche Vite can't even get it to dry quicker.

China Glaze : Mrs Claus

Hi guys ! Yippee, its weekend again !! Hope everyone survived the cold week . Today I'm showing you guys another stunning China Glaze colour- Mrs Claus. This  is the first jelly nail polish I own. But I have to say I was impressed, the colour looks all squishy , but its nice and smooth for a glitter polish too. This polish has small silver and red glitter particles in a red jelly base. But don't fear, this colour isn't an intense red . And the jellyness makes it a nice soft colour for everyday wear. I used three coats of China Glaze Mrs Claus in the photos below...

Tip Top : Rocky Road Glitter

Hi guys ! Wednesday already ! I got a massive headache today, and I have a runny nose.. Bleh !! Today I'm going to show you guys an amazing glitter from Tip Top. This one is called Rocky Road Glitter. Its a awesome silver glitter with hexagon pieces, bigger glitter pieces and small fine glitter inside. And the BEST part - When it hits the sun (or a little light ) it reflects colours so nicely ! I just love this effect !! But enough blabbering about the colour , let me show you some photos. I used 2 Coats of Tip Top Rocky Road over black here.. This is really an awesome glitter colour. ♥ Everyone needs it in their collection. It looks great with dark dramatic colours, that's why I selected to do the glitter with black underneath. It really makes it pop. * All the photos were taken near a window , to show how the glitter picks up different colours *

Essence : Magic Wand

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a great weekend ! I did ! Today I'm showing you a magnetic nail polish . This one is from Essence and is called Magic Wand. First off.. I have to say, I struggled to finally get the magnet and the polish to work together . ( Perhaps I didn't have the most patience in the world when I started off though... ) This was my last attempt of many.. Sometimes the polish was a little too thick, I didn't keep the magnet close enough, kept it to close and the magnet touched the polish... Anyhow .. the end results was worth the trouble.. I used 1 coat of Essence Magic Wand Magnetic Polish , with the stripes design magnet... Here's the magnet and polish together... This was the first ever magnetic polish I tried, and it does take a little practise to perfect, but it looks really cool and unique. ♥  I bought mine from Dischem, there's a few colours to choose from, and then a few magnet designs. ♥

Weekend Mani ♥

Hi guys ! Yippee.. It's Friday today ! Hope everyone has a nice relaxing weekend planned. And the cold front will be hitting JHB this weekend too , so that means tons of coffee and hot chocolate for me. :) Today I'm showing you guys my fun weekend mani. ♥ I used 2 Coats Tip Top Fairy Dust . Then I used my Essence stamping plate to stamp some fun flowers on, and the pinkies I did stripes with Tip Top Sexy Bikini . And after all that , I used China Glaze Matte Magic. My fun weekend mani in the sun ♥ This is really a fun easy mani to try. Just ignore the dry cuticles in the last photo, this extremely cold/ hot weather is playing havoc on my hands again. Not even my trusty cuticle oil is helping at all. I'm trying Avon Rose Cuticle butter from today, hopefully that will help a bit. And the smell is so great !! Will do a full review about the cuticle balm in a week or so. Here's the stamping kit I used, I used the stamping plate that came with the kit,
