Hi guys ! Hope your having a great week and had an awesome Christmas time spend with family and friends. I had a great festive time.

Today I'm sharing my last update of the Essence Advent Calender. I really enjoyed the calender , and will most certainly be on the lookout for another fun Advent calender to open next year.

As always , this isn't a full review on the products - but I have written down the ones people wanted mini reviews on and will be sharing that in the new year.

So onto the goodies :

Day 20 :
Purple Duo Sharpener . I have this one in orange already , but I wanted a girlier version for my work make-up bag. These are amazing sharpeners for your eyeliners .
Day 21 :
Essence Nail Polish in My Love Diary. I already own this colour , but it's a gorgeous colour so I'm glad I have a back up.
Day 22 :
Essence Bling Bling Nail Stickers. I love wearing nail studs studs so these will be used very very soon.
Day 23:
Essence Glossy Kiss Berry Gloss. As I mentioned with the cherry version of this earlier - Essence lipglosses are amazing .
Day 24: Essence All About Nudes eyeshadow palette. I LOVE the All About Greys one - so I was excited to get the nude version too. I already used this one quite a few times , and as with the Greys one - this one is AMAZING.

I would like to thank everyone for all your support on my blog this year. I really appreciate every comment here and on social media. This will be my last post for the year, and I will be back the first week of 2017 with some great new posts . I hope you all will have a great 2017 with lots of happy moments .

Essence Advent Calendar Reveal 13-19 December

Hi guys ! Happy Tuesday . How has your weekend been ? I'm a little late with this weeks rundown - I totally  forgot to post yesterday. Next week Monday will be the last rundown on the calendar as well as my last post for 2016 .

"Ho ho ho! The countdown is on – not long to go until the first door can be opened! With the limited “advent calendar”, essence is offering bestsellers and exclusive products in their original size. There’s a cute quote as well as an essence must-have for the eyes, lips, face or nails or a cool tool or accessory hidden behind each door. The large, beautifully decorated box looks like a Christmas present, so it’s a perfect gift for your best friend, sister or even to yourself! Merry Christmas… with essence!"

The Essence Advent Calendar is available from Dischem stores for R415 - although both Dischem stores close to be have them on sale for R375 currently. That works out to about R17,30 per item. The calendar includes 24 FULL sized products - most in special edition holiday packaging. As there was a few items I wanted to try - I was excited when I was gifted this beauty by my mom . Each day also includes a little quote - which is a fun way to start your day.

If you follow me on social media - I'm sharing a quick snapshot every morning on Twitter and Facebook and a Instagram video as I open it .

I won't be doing a full review in this post - but if you are curious about any of the products feel free and I'll gladly do a mini review of the ones requested.  For the people that alreasy requested products - I've written them down and will post them soon. :)

Day 13 :
Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara . I love the waterproof version so I'm excited to try this one out too. I will be doing a post on my Essence mascara collection soon so stay tuned for a full review on this mascara.
Day 14:
Essence French Manicure Tip guides - these will always come in handy for nail art looks.
Day 15 :
A pack with 5 mini eyeshadow applicators. These come in super handy when I'm using pigments to press onto the lids - so I always love more .
Day 16 :
Essence Play With My Mint nail polish. Swoon - I'm a sucker for minty polishes and excited to try this one out.
Day 17 :
Essence Long Lasting Lipstick in Natural Beauty - The colour is gorgeous and I'm excited to see how it wears.
Day 18 :
Essence Kajal Pencil in Black. I'm kinda meh about this product - I don't wear a lot of black eyeliner in my waterline and I prefer Kajal pencils for that.
Day 19 :
Essence Lip Brush - Another gorgeous snowflake design brush - I don't own any lip brushes so I'm excited to try this one out.

EyeSeeHue Online store and Sephora Sheet Mask Review

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! Who's excited for the weekend ? I am - I hardly have a Saturday off but now that we are moving into the Festive season I'm off... Yeah !

If you follow me on social media you know I'm in love with sheet masks. As a single mom I value my time - so sheet masks are my special me-time treat . They are quick and easy - I can pop them on , write a blogpost , watch some series on T.V or fold laundry or answer emails at night. After the 20 minutes (I sometimes do leave them on for even longer than that) I massage the extra serum / essence into my skin and voila.

I usually classify sheet masks into two categories - more affordable options for 2 / 3 times a week when I need a boost and more special me time masks. I love how they address any skin concerns I might have (dry skin ... blemishes ... anti -ageing )

I was lucky enough to get sent some of these Sephora sheet masks from a new online store in South Africa - EyeSeeHue . They stock some International brands that are not available in South Africa like Eyeko , Sephora masks and lip balms , Lipstick Queen & some great Too Faced goodies. It's always hard to find reliable trustworthy third party sellers that won't disappear with your money - so it's always great to find a great trustworthy store with great service.

The store is run by a lovely lady named Andrea Herman . She's also a qualified makeup artist with a major love for any beauty products .

So onto the Sephora sheet masks I got to try. These masks retail for R120 each (making them on the higher end of my treat masks - but they are worth every cent - these are the creme de la creme of sheet masks )

Sephora Avocado Mask
Sephora Orchid Invisilk Mask
Sephora Pomegranate Invisisilk Mask

These masks are super soft and is made from a little bit of a thicker material that fits the skin perfectly - these ones are a little broader so they will fit any face shape . They are nice and cooling on the face and I love how soft the material is on the skin .

Of the three I got I love all three for different reasons. I would definitely suggest getting a few to de-stress before Christmas or spoiling yourself after wrapping all the Christmas gifts.

Do you love sheet masks ? Anything on the EyeSeeHueMake-Up store that catches your eye?
