{Subscription Service Review & Reveal } August Kids Book Club Book Unboxing

Hi guys! Happy Thursday.  How has your week been so far? Alex is home this week (his school switches them between one week at school and one-week homeschooling ) so I'm working and teaching him from home which does get pretty interesting. Thank goodness he is such a smart kid. As I mentioned here many times before- Alex does read every night before bedtime - this is a strong rule we stick to every night. He loves reading and he often walks around with a fact book or Encyclopedia in his hand reading everyone facts about volcanoes, dinosaurs or the human body. I love that  Kids Book Club  sends us a cute book, an activity something and a cute bag, bookmark and a little figurine every month.  So more about the service again if you missed it last time : We picked the two-book Hedgehog Heroes (11-13 years) package - this month we received a book, the MiniMag kid's magazine, the monthly activity booklet, bookmark and cute figurine. The activity book this month included col...

{SKINCARE} Some Filorga Minis I Tested

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday. How has your week been? The last few weeks has been pretty crazy and intense this side - but I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  A week or two ago I won a Filorga giveaway the lovely  ForTheBeautyOfIt  ran on her Instagram page and I was one of the lucky three winners to get gifted some products. Honestly - I have never tried anything from the brand so I was EXTREMELY excited to try it . And it came just before the Woman's Day long weekend - and for a change, I had the Saturday off so it was the perfect time to play and try out new products. Yeah! I'm splitting up the minis reviews into two batches - these are the first products I tested out so far - Filorga Anti-Aging Micellar Solution & Meso-Mask So let me start with the Micellar Water. It's a pretty decent Micellar water - didn't burn or sting my eyes which is always a bonus. Overall - I wasn't blown away by the Micellar water - but it did a decent job of removing my ma...

{FOOD} Eureka Mills Potbrood Pre-Mix

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday. How was your weekend?  Today I'm sharing something I REALLY REALLY have been enjoying during lockdown - baking. I'll admit I always loved baking but never really had time - I was always running from work to home to school pick up and on weekends I was way exhausted to even think about it. But with lockdown, I was forced to slow down a bit .. and working from home some days in the week also helped a lot.  I discovered the Eurika Mills Potbrood mix after seeing some of her other mixes on Instagram - I was intrigued so the next time I popped into Checkers for groceries I picked up one of the mixes to try ... it sounded simple enough in store - just add water and let's rise ... so I thought okay let me try it. And boy I was glad I did! I fell in love with how easy and yummy this mix is. A total winner. I have made the mix as instructed to make It look like a genuine pot brood like in the picture - but I made a few little adjustments to make it easier f...
