REN Masks Review

Hi guys ! Hope you are having a great week so far .

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on 3 awesome REN masks I received to review. I'm a BIG fan of masks and I do use them weekly in my routine. These masks came at a great time, as my face was acting up a little from the season change.

Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask (R520 )

This is one of my favourites. This mask really helps to make your skin look brighter , radiant and healthy. This mask does have a little bit of a tingling feeling when you put it on but nothing intense . I really love to use this mask once a week and makes my skin looks really healthy and super smooth.

Clarimatte™ Invisible Pores Detox Mask (R360 )

This is a detoxifying clay mask that is designed to reduce the appearance of pores and leaves your skin smooth and soft. This is really great to use when you want to give your skin a good "cleaning" mask . I did notice after a few uses my pores looks a little smaller . What I like is this mask (being a clay mask) doesn't dry super hard on your skin where you struggle to get it off, this comes of pretty easy! (Which for a clay mask is a bonus .)

ClearCalm 3 Clarity Restoring Mask (R440 )

This is my FAVOURITE one by far... A real skin saver.  This is a treatment mask formulated to combat and help prevent breakouts. It will reduce visible blemishes and leave skin looking clear, calm and even-toned. This works AMAZING on blemishes... This one really saved my skin when it was acting up. This one has a little bit of a strong smell .. It doesn't bother me... But I just mention it since some of you might be.  I also use this mask as a "spot treatment" just treating a spot or blemish as I see it appearing and does make it go away much faster. Phew !

My 2 favourites are the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and the ClearCalm 3 Clarity Restoring Mask .

Have you used REN masks before ? Which one is your favourite one ??

*This product/s was send to me in exchange for my honest opinion*

  1. Oooh, I'm most interested in the first one -- Glycolactic Radiance. Anything for the promise of smoother skin! I have only used a REN cleanser (something with the word "milk" in the name, I believe), and quite enjoyed it.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each ...

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I d...
