Skittlette Mani with Tutorials on the Accent Nails

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ? Today I am sharing another fun nail look with the polishes I mentioned  HERE  last week. I have a full review on the two colours in the link. Along with the 2 gorgeous polishes,  NailCandi  send me some Chevron tape, and I bought the Liquid Palisade earlier this year , so I will be showing how it works in my little tutorials in the end too.  But first onto the skittlette mani -  can I just take a moment to say I'm completely in love with how gorgeous this is ? This mani is so me - I love Chevron pint - and the Nail Candi  Chevron Tape  is one of the easiest ones I have used. The peel of super easily - and they don't peel of your polish underneath. One of the reasons I prefer to sponge on the colour on top - I feel you get a much neater look in the end .  I bought the  Nail Candi Liquid Palisade  earlier this year for gradients / glitter gradients - and it's such an amazing ...

Lush Refresher Shower Jelly

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! How was your week ? Glad it's weekend ? I still have work tomorrow - but at least I got Monday off. As I mentioned, while away on holiday , I popped into a Lush store and another thing I was always curious about was their Shower Jelly. This is such a unique concept - and once they demonstrated in store I knew I loved this scent (The blue one Whoosh! smells amazing too - but since I was on holiday the extremely lemony/ citrussy smell on this one blew me away ). The scent seems pretty powerful when you take a piece out , but once used it fades into a gorgeous lemon scent that will instantly brighten your mood.  Once out of the container, this is a wobbly piece of jelly. I was contemplating using it as is - but I follow a few Lush related Instragram accounts and most suggest cutting your shower jelly into small blocks and using it like that. I decided to go that route - and I'm glad I did.  Now I use the shower jelly a few ways - I use one bl...

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour Swatches and Review

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . How has your week been so far ? Revlon launches the new Revlon HD ultra Matte lip colours a little while ago, and Revlon send me two colours to test out. I was pretty impressed , so over the weekend I picked up two more colours. Now first off - These are hard to find , as they fly off the shelves - and for a good reason - they are pretty awesome liquid lipsticks.  If you have used the HD Lip Lacquers or Lipsticks you will find these have the same vanilla / mango smell to them. I personally like the smell (but I know some people might not ). It doesn't linger too long , but thought it might be worth a mention. I find these to wear pretty well too - about 4/5 hours (and that included drinking coffee - but they are not transfer proof ) . The wear is pretty comfortable and doesn't dry out your lips - which is great for a liquid lipstick. I like that it leaves a stain on your lips too - so the colour wears off nicely and leaves a pretty stain on y...

China Glaze Let's Chalk About it Mani with Glitter Accent

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . How was YOUR weekend ? Mine was actually pretty fun (even though I work on Saturdays ) spending time with family and friends.  Last week I got the most awesome little parcel from  NailCandi  , a online manicure shop that included the two most perfect polishes in the world - Yes unicorns were singing as I opened this parcel .   If you know me - you know I'm a sucker for gorgeous milky pink colours. And the glitter - *swoon* - gold glitter packed with pink and white hex glitter. Both polishes are pure perfection .  Let's Chalk About It  is a gorgeous milky pink polish that's opaque in two coats - now let me tell you that's pretty hard to achieve for a baby pink - the formula is perfection .  Glitter Me This  is a gorgeous glitter topper polish with gold and white and pink hex glitter in. The formula is pretty glitter packed .  I will have swatches of the polishes as well as another fun nail art look on the b...

Lush Ayesha Fresh Face Mask

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! How has your week been ? I am loving the colder weather this week - so I'm taking full advantage while it lasts with scarfs... hot chocolate ... And cuddling with a warm blanket. Did I mention cold weather is my FAVOURITE weather ?? While I was on vacation , I was lucky enough to be close enough to a Lush Store ( YEAH !!) and while I usually only order online - I got the chance to go in and sniff everything ! Let's just say the people working in the Gateway store is some of the coolest people ever.  While I was in-store I knew I had to pick up a Lush Fresh Face Mask , as you can only get them in-store and not online to try. The one I got was Ayesha - and let me tell you I couldn't wait to try it that evening.  As you know - I LOVE skincare products. I feel it's very important to take care of your skin - because let's be real make-up can't cover everything .  This mask might look a little gross in the pot - but don't le...
