Beautiful Earth Bath & Massage Oil

Hi guys ! I'm finally back after a few weeks break - I got so sick at the end of March and was put on some hectic meds, so I wanted to take a little break until I was feeling 100% again. While I'm not completely healthy again - I missed blogging so much and will slowly be getting back to it.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Beautiful Earth products - as they offered to send me some samples to review on my #SampleSunday series and included a full size product for me to test out.  This couldn't have come at a better time to try out as my skin was getting dry from the season change.

But before I tell you about this amazing Bath & Massage oil , some more info on the company :

Beautiful Earth sells personal care products to consumers and the hospitality industry.
We are committed to natural products and the ingredient listing on each individual product confirms this. Apart from being natural, Beautiful Earth is also green – an environmentally friendly company with a sound Environment Management System (EMS).
We offer a personal grooming alternative where the fragrances are derived from essential oils, not synthetics/phthalates. And without the harmful or undesired ingredients – no parabens, sulphates, colouring, mineral oils or glycols……..just natural, guaranteed.
All products are suitable for vegans. Products are cruelty free, content is biodegradable and sewer system friendly.

I love that the products are natural without any yucky ingredients. I also love that the products are all Proudly South African too - as more and more products seem to be imported these days - so a Proudly South African totally vegan product does impress .

This is truly a luxurious hydrating bath oil that nourishes the skin. I love using this on a day that I feel I need a little relaxation and mini pamper time - and the scent does help to let you relax and feel calmer . The bath oil uses Patchouli and Neroli oils which are all oils that help improve skin elasticity and radiance , as well as Ylang - Ylang and Neroli oils to balance and restore the senses.
After I use this bath oil - I don't feel the need for a body butter or body lotion . A little also goes a long way - I've taken a few baths and my container is only about half way now. I will most certainly re-purchase this lovely bath oil in the future - along with a few other goodies I want to try out.

Interested in the ingredients :
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Trictum Vulgare (Wheat Germ) Oil, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Flower Oil, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil, Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Leaf Oil, Cananga Odorate (Ylang Ylang) Flower Oil, Tocopherol Acetate, Anise Alcohol*, Benzyl Alcohol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Benzyl Salicylate*, Cinnamal*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Farsenol*, Methyl 2-Octynoate*, Isoeugenol*, Limonene*, Linalool*  (* Natural component of an essential oil)
This 100 ml Bath oil retails for R92,83 on their website - which is pretty affordable for such an amazing bath oil.
Have you tried anything from this range yet ? Anything you would recommend I try out next ?
This product was sent for me to review - opinions are all my own.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each ...

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I d...
