Some New Revlon Favourites

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far ??

Today I am sharing some new Revlon favourites I've been using a lot lately. Some of them I have discovered the end of December last year and some are new loves that popped into my routine.

Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Matte Foundation 150 Buff
This is one of the latest foundations from Revlon. I knew I already loved the colourstay foundation range in general - so I was really excited when Takealot had this foundation on sale last year and picked one up. This is a 24hour wear foundation that promises no caking or fading, that's lightweight and blends seamlessly. And I have to agree on those statements (although I never wear foundation that long). This has been my go-to foundation the last few weeks since my skin has been acting up a little in this heat. It's a good medium coverage foundation - and I love how this doesn't cling too much on dry patches - but looks flawless and doesn't go into fine lines too much. I love that the squeeze tube is super easy to use - and when I am travelling I will most definitely take this one along with me.

Revlon Kiss SPF 20 Balm in Tropical Coconut / Fresh Strawberry and Lip Scrub
I love the two balms that I have - they smell super yummy and fruity (these balms are scented according to the fruit on the package ) and they have SPF in. I prefer a good lip balm with SPF during the day as my lips do get cracked and irritated easily. So that's a huge winner in my books. I have two that I reach for often, the coconut one (that's a clear balm version ) and the strawberry if I want a little colour too. The colour isn't long lasting - because this is a tinted lip balm - but I love how moisturising they are and they look super cute too applying them on the go.

Revlon Sugar Lip Scrub
I got this to try not too long ago - and I love that this is a lip scrub in a balm form more - because if I have to be honest I don't always like digging into a lip scrub pot to apply - sometimes the convenience of a tube scrub is so much better. This is a pretty decent lip scrub that you can use as you feel is needed - it makes your lips smooth and hydrated and ready for a liquid lipstick for if you feel your lips need a little pampering after a long day.

Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint in Pink IRL
When everyone on Instagram and Twitter was going wild for these lippies I knew I wanted to try it too. I picked up a darker berry shade for my mom and this gorgeous pink colour for me. This is really such a unique product - it's super hydrating with a bit of a stain - so even after the lipstick has worn off you are left with the gorgeous stain colour. I love how soft and easy the cushion tip makes applying the lip tint too. And I love that in the heat we had the last few weeks - you could leave this lippy in your warm car and it doesn't have a mini-meltdown. (Which may or may not have happened ). There are 10 colours in the range and I really love this one so much I'm thinking of popping into Clicks to pick up the more nude shade for me too.

Swatches of the Foundation, Strawberry Lipbalm, Coconut Lipbalm (super light ) and the Pink IRL Lip Tint

Has any of the new Revlon releases catch your eye ??

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

Farm Animals Friday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
