Aromadough Mini Review & Monthly Freebie (Telling Time)

Hi guys! Happy Friday. How are you guys? Have a fun week?

Just before Easter I decided to pick up some Aromadough from The Beautiful Store as I wanted to try them out and add a cute Easter one to Alex's Easter hunt.

So what is Aromadough ?

Health in your hands... Aromadough is a silky soft health ball infused with a combination of ingredients including cocoa butter and coconut oil as well as a carefully chosen blend of aromatherapy oils. The essential oils are absorbed through topical application as well as molecular inhalation. The molecules from the essential oils reach into the central nervous system and sooth and restore missing elements from your body.

The Aromadough retails for R80 a container and according to the website lasts 600 minutes of play. It's recommended to play for 10-15 minutes for optical benefits.

I picked up three of these - (the Easter one for his hunt and two others - the Destress and Calm one) so we can do this as a joined activity a few nights a week as a bonding session with us too. We put on a timer and for 10 minutes chat about our day while playing with our dough. Alex can pick in the evening which one he prefers for the day . He loves the Easter Sleep One as well as the normal DeStress purple one . The colours are vibrant and they truly smell amazing . We also bring this out after a lot of homework as a quick destress before playtime. I suffer from Carpel Tunnel and I do find this helps my hand too as it's not a too tense stress-ball texture but makes sure I do some hand exercises.

Overall I do love these Aromadoughs and we plan to pick up a few different scent ones next time I order.

Now for the April #PinkPurpleDotsFreebie as promised - Some awesome telling the time worksheets and a study note that goes along with it. These are 4 worksheets that's awesome if your child is just starting to learn how to read time and give them a little extra practice. Please feel free to click on the link and to download - and if you use them please feel free to tag me on social media too.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each ...

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I d...
