Avon BB Haircare Range

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday . Hope you are having a great week so far.

A little while back Avon released a new BB Perfection haircare range, and as always I knew I needed to give it a try. I'm super picky with haircare, I have thick coloured hair , that gets frizzy , but then again can get super greasy quickly.

I was SUPER tempted to try this range, so I decided to go big and try everything in the range. The range includes a shampoo, conditioner , beauty balm and mask. I was scared to get the conditioner, mask and beauty balm, because I know my hair ... It's either going to love it .. or it was going to go down horrible. (To be honest I thought it was going to go horrible.. since I know some products that claims to nourish is too nourishing on my hair )

I was pleasantly surprised when I use these combos together. The shampoo is AMAZING ! Hydrating, but not too hydrating, cleans my hair very nicely and keeps the frizzy hair at bay. The conditioner is nice too ... I like that it doesn't weigh my hair down , but does hydrate it a bit. The beauty balm is also pretty amazing, a little goes a loooonnng way , but this acts as a heat protecting balm too , which is ALWAYS a bonus as I heat style my hair basically everyday.

But the most AMAZING stand out products for me from this range - The mask ! It works AMAZING !! It's recommended to keep it in for 20 minutes .. And if you do - the results are MIND BLOWING ! But to be real , I don't ALWAYS have time for that ... But leaving it in for 2minutes makes a huge difference too. My hair stays in style longer, looks soooo bouncy and healthy (and let's be real who doesn't want shiny bouncy healthy hair ? ) I did also find this made my hair tangle less...

So onto the 10 Benefits of this range :

  1.  take care of your hair,
  2.  protect,
  3.  nourish,
  4.  improve the shine,
  5.  help against humidity,
  6.  smooth,
  7.  maintain the hydration in your hair,
  8. tame curls,
  9. make your hair silky smooth,
  10.  and make styling easier.
The help against humidity part is pretty true too - We had a mini family break for my dad's birthday at the end of September ... And the place we went was hot and humid. I took the shampoo and mask along ... And not one day did I struggle with my hair turning frizzy on me. And my hair would normally go wild and frizzy and have tons of fly-aways . Even after going on hiking trips( and falling into a river ) my hair was still nice and smooth. Pretty impressive in my books .

The two stand out products from this range for me personally - The shampoo and mask. I'm already on my second bottle of shampoo (and I already have a back up ) and more than half way with my mask (And while I'm a huge fan off face masks , I usually HATE hair masks ) . This is pretty magical range in my books.

How has YOUR week been so far ?

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...)
