Spongebob mani ♥

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fun weekend ! And hopefully a stress free week ! Today I'm posting my 50th blog post, never thought when I started I'd continue so long, as sometimes I'm so busy , but so proud of my little blog so far. To celebrate, I bought myself a lipstick charm for my charm bracelet this weekend , as well as a cocktail one. Attached is a pic of them on my bracelet . Isn't it so cute ?? Anyhow, back to my sponge bob mani I did for the Tip Top competition .. Let's just say cartoon characters just isn't my strong point, but either way, it was fun to try ... The Tip Top colours I used : Fairy Dust, Cha Cha Cha, Decked Out , Peach Crisp, Boston Lights, Black Forest, Astronaut, meringue Surprise, Cherry’s in the snow, Lemon Fuel, Sherbet Ange;, Twilight, French Manicure White, as well as Yellow Nail Booster Base . Weekend Gradient Mani ♥

Hi guys ! Yippee, finally its weekend. Been a long week . Hope everyone is planning a fun filled weekend ♥ Today I'm showing you guys a cool gradient mani I did for this weekend. I used two Tip Top colours for this mani . The colours I used was Tip Top Fairy Dust and Tip Top Cha Cha Cha. I first painted the nails with two coats of  Fairy Dust, and then I sponged some Cha Cha Cha on the tips of the nails. I love how this mani turned out, the colours compliment each other so nicely ! The Sponge I used . This one is one of the Essence sponges. They come in a pack of three . Doesn't these to colours just work perfectly with one another ?? I just love it ♥ The Tip Top colours you can get at any Clicks store for R39,95. I bought the 3 pack Essence sponges with a nail art brush from Deschem for R39,99 .

Tip Top : Peach Crisp

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a fantastic week so far ! My week has been quite busy , hopefully the rest of the week will fly by . :) Today I have another fantastic colour from Tip Top to show you guys, this colour is called Peach Crisp and is a bright almost neon orange nail polish. When I first got this colour, I used it mainly for my toes, but I have to admit, I really like this colour on my nails . I'm sure it will look fantastic in summer when I'm a little more tanned too. Like any other Tip Top polish, the colour applied great. I used two coats of Tip Top Peach Crisp, although after I took the photos , I did notice some VNL (visible nail line) on some nails. So a third coat would surely fix that. But besides that, I had no issues with this polish to look great. ♥ This will really be a fantastic colour for summer, although, with this warmer weather again, it works great too ! Tip Top Nail Chic polishes are available at Clicks stores for R39,95 ♥

Animal Print themed nails ♥

♥ Safari Barbie ♥ Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend ! Mine was , finally worked on some ideas for my animal themed nail art , and had a blast taking my little man to the shops. So today I'm showing you my entry for the Tip Top Animal Print themed nail art competitions. Had so much fun deciding what to do ! Hard to believe since a good friend gave me the nickname Safari Barbie a few years back , since I love animal prints ! First off, I'll show you the design I practised on tips before painting the actual design on my nails - Now I have to admit, animal prints isn't nearly as easy as it sounds.. I had such a hard time deciding on what to do . Here's the actual design on my nails ... The Tip Top colours I used : Fairy Dust , In the Navy , French Manicure White, Boston Lights , Black Forest , Hot Fudge , Decked Out, Snow Capped Glitter , Gold Drop glitter, Gold Digger, Astronaut , Amour plate, Sherbet Angel , Twilight and Cha Cha...

Avon : Nail Expert Rose Cuticle Balm

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a lovely week thus far ! It's finally weekend ! Whoohoo ! Since I'm still rocking my dots mani from Wednesday (since I'm only planning to do my animal print design for the Tip Top competition this weekend ) , I'm going to show you an awesome cuticle balm from Avon I started using a while back. This is a nice thick balm that smells of roses (not overwhelming though .. which is a huge bonus since I'm not a big fan of the smell of roses ) . Since I can only put on some cuticle oil at night before bed (as I'm always typing etc ) , I started using this butter on my dry cuticles during lunchtime daily, and I have to say, my cuticles have been a lot less dry as of late . It also moisturises fantastically, some nights I don't even see the need to use cuticle oil , but especially in this warm / cold weather days, I've seen a huge improvement since using this balm during the day . Because trust me , nothing ruins a mani faster ...

Pink Dots Wednesday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe it's Wednesday already ! Firstly, Happy Birthday to Nelson Mandela. Glad to see he still inspires so many people today. So many friends have done something special for their 67minutes . Did anyone here do something special ?? Today I have a nice pink dots mani , I didn't want to do something to bright or dark that stains, since I'm still pretty clueless what I'm going to do for the animal print Tip Top finals round, and don't want to be stuck taking off the old polish forever when I get a cute idea. Hopefully , some inspiration will hit me quickly ! I used three different Tip Top pinks , Melting Marshmallow, Pot ' O Berries and Rosebud Cherry. I just love this colour combination, don't you ? With the big and little dots ♥ Here's a pic of the polishes, in case anyone wondered what pinks I used - L-R : Pot' O Berries , Melting Marshmallow and Rosebud Cherry Tip Top Nail Chic polishes can be bough...

China Glaze : Admire

Hi guys ! Happy Monday to everyone ! This weekend was by far the coldest one this winter, stayed inside most of the time as it was so cold ! Brrr .... So last week I told you about the China Glaze colour I finally found. ♥ This one is called Admire. I've been longing for it for so long, and the only place I can order it from was in Durban, and the postage was too pricey to justify owning this stunning nail polish . Luckily I found it, and it's happily sitting in my collection now. This is a nice metallic pink colour, it applied fantastically, only needed one coat ! And it dries shiny too, but I prefer a top coat over my mani's to make them last a little longer. So here are the photos of this stunning colour - I think this fantastic colour might be my new favourite nail polish ever !!  I just love pink metallic ! Hope everyone has a fantastic Monday and a great week !

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a lucky Friday the 13th so far ! I am ! It looks like another cold weekend in JHB , o well , I'm not moaning, I L.O.V.E winter ♥ So since I was a winner last week on Tip Top with my farm animals nails, I have to participate in this weeks theme too. The theme this week was music nails... So I googled and googled for the cutest ideas possible, and finally came across this idea - I-pod's give us music.. So why not do I-Pod nails ! I used the following Tip Top colours : Lemon Fuel , Fairy Dust , Cha cha cha , Melting Marshmallow , Twilight , Black Forest and Tip Top French Manicure White . Isn't this just too cute !! I love the outcome, I really wasn't in the mood for music notes, and wanted something cool for a weekend mani as well. :) And attached is a photo of the lovely gift I won on Tip Top , 2 Nail Addict Colours as well as a pack of nail art stickers ♥ I just can't wait to blog about these colours,...
