Dermaceutic - C25 Cream

Hi guys . Hope you are all having a great week so far. Only 8 more days until Christmas... Yeah ! Today I am sharing my review on the Dermaceutic C25 Cream. As you know, I reviewed the Dermaceutic Foamer 5 Cleanser  HERE  . Today I am sharing my thoughts on the second product I tried in the range. Again, as much as I LOVE make-up ... I am a firm believer you need a great skincare routine to always look your best.  The C25 Cream contains 25% stabilised s Vitamin C to protect collagen fibres while maintaining skin’s optimum moisture level. Vitamin A helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines along with Vitamins B5 and E to hydrate the skin and reduce water loss. This is a light cream that absorbs super fast into the skin too.  The last few weeks I have started noticing little fine line around my eyes, it bugged me because my foundation  would always settle in those lines and drive me insane. And while I would like to age gracefully ... Lets be real... ...

Lapelle Issue 7

See what is in the latest issue of Lapelle Magazine, there are also many prizes to be won.   http://www.lapelle.co.za/issue7.php?id=1154 One of the articles in the magazine is this one UNDER MY SKIN 10 EVERYDAY THINGS THAT ARE BAD FOR YOUR SKIN 1. Sleeping with make-up on Apart from the chemicals and potential allergens in some make-up brands, not washing it off before bed has devastating effects, such as clogging pores, disrupting natural repair and shedding (renewal), and drying out skin, leading to accelerated breakdown of collagen and elastin and even oxidative stress. Trust us: wash your face, every night. 2. Drinking – and eating – too little water Without water, skin dehydrates, gets damaged and ages quickly. Every cell in your body needs water to metabolise normally, which is why the eight glasses a day rule is one to live by. But there also seems to be some eating more water-rich foods purported better water absorption. 3. Squeezing p...

Hi guys. Hope you are having a great week. I seriously can't believe it's Christmas in a few weeks... Yeah ! Next week I will share some gift guide ideas with you guys too, and some more nail tutorials. So onto my review for today - The Dermaceutic Foamer 5 Cleanser. I'm am a huge fan of skincare, because, without great skincare, you don't have a great base for make-up. And in the end of the day I like my skin to look great WITHOUT any make-up too. In the end of the day, you want your skin to always cared for to age gracefully .. And this is MAGIC unicorn tears in a bottle.  This is a foam cleanser & exfoliator in one. This works fantastic to refine the texture of your skin - This seriously makes my pores look smaller and my skin texture so smooth - I even had to stop myself to keep feeling my skin .  It's also pretty user friendly... 2 pumps (or one but I prefer 2 ) morning and evening... I rub the foam into my face, and rise off. And voila... Gorgeous ...

RENOKIN HAIR RANGE FOR LUXURIOUS HAIR

Hair is an extension of skin and there exists many similarities between the management of hair and the management of skin. It is for this reason that Lamelle Research Laboratories has introduced a product range that encourages hair growth, stops hair loss and stimulates the skin ’ s ability to create new hair follicles. On average, people shed 50 to 100 hairs per day and an average scalp has about 100 000 hairs. Gradual thinning is a normal process of ageing however, hair loss may lead to baldness when the rate of shedding exceeds the rate of re-growth, when new hair is thinner than the hair shed or when hair is shed in patches. The Renokin Hair Revitalizing program contains three biomimetic peptides which inhibit hair loss, prevents stress induced hair cell death as well as activate the signal for hair growth. In addition, Renokin Hair Revitalizing program contains two vitamins which provides nutrition and enables increased blood flow to the scalp resulting on the formation of...

Summer Skin & Fashion Tips with Dermalogica

Hi guys. Hope you are having a great week so far.  Happy Wednesday ! Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to a very informative Dermalogica SummerSkin&Fashion event at Rosebank Mall, where Sonette Donker & Gert Johan Coetzee shared some great suncare & fashion tips with us - and today I will be sharing some of those tips with you guys, along with MY favourite Dermalogica Suncare products.  As you know I am a big fan of sun protection - no one wants to look older in the long run than they really are. And yes , you still need sun protection - even in winter ! Some interesting Sun Fun Facts : Sunburn cooks the proteins in your skin , collagen and elastin. This is similar to putting your arm on a frying pan ! A person's risk of melanoma doubles if he or she has five or more sunburns in their life We need 10 - 15 min a day of sunlight which will allow us with the sufficient Vitamin D production - older people need a bit more . UV exposure can cause...
