3 Mini Reviews - Catrice Make-Up Edition 01

Hi guys. Happy Friday !  A while back Catrice send me some make-up goodies to try (and I bought some new ones the moment Red Square stocked them online... so be on the look-out for a few reviews on the brands in the next week or two ) , and I'm slowly testing them out at this stage. Today I'm sharing three of those products with you , and my thoughts on each one.  Catrice Prime & Fine Eyeshadow Base The Catrice Prime & Fine Eyeshadow base is a nude eyeshadow base / primer. I really had high hopes, since I LOVE the Essence Eyeshadow base ... But this was a little bit of a let down personally for me. It's a good primer, it does help my eyeshadow last longer, but it's not mind blowing in my opinion . If you're looking for a great eyeshadow base though ... I would recommend the Essence one rather.  Catrice All Round Coverstick Concealer  I'm a big fan of this concealer. The rounded tip makes it easy to apply on trickier places (like to cove...

Essence - I ❤️‍ TRENDS The Nudes Pure Soul Nail Polish

Hi guys ! Hope your having a great week so far. My week started a little bumpy, I was a super sick but finally feeling a little bit better. Today I'm sharing a fun new Essence polish with you . I LOVE the Trend edition ranges, it's usually my favourite and limited edition .  The Nudes trend range is fantastic and includes a range of nude lipsticks (I have some swatches for you of them and the lip glosses next week too ) . As you guys know, I'm a huge fan of Nude nail polish , so I was delighted when Essence send me this polish in a press pack. I love that nude polishes are always season appropriate, and work appropriate - not everyone is lucky or bold enough to wear super bright nail polishes to work . Essence Pure Soul is a nude / pinkish polish with the most gorgeous subtle shimmer, that was surprisingly enough really opaque . Nude nail polishes are notorious for sometimes giving trouble, and this polish was super creamy and buttery and opaque in two coats. Yeah  ...

May Test Box Unboxing

Hi guys ! Hope your having a great week .  Today I'm unboxing the May Test Box for you guys. This month theme is Plumping Up the Volume. I'm a BIG fan of bigger hair ( I hate it when my hair looks so flat and sad ) , so this was perfect for me to test out .  For those of you who are not familiar with  The Test Box , let me first tell you a little more about them -  it's a subscription service where each month you are sent a few products . The thing that makes  The Test Box  different from other subscription boxes, is that it does not believe in sachets and teeny tiny samples that do not allow you to properly test if you like a product or not. I'm one of those people that need to use a product more than once to see if I really like it or not.  A subscription costs R160 a month (which includes delivery) .  So let's chat about what's in this months box...  The Kevin Murphy  Plumping.Wash (shampoo light pink ) & ...
