3 Mini Reviews - Catrice Make-Up Edition 01

 Hi guys. Happy Friday !

A while back Catrice send me some make-up goodies to try (and I bought some new ones the moment Red Square stocked them online... so be on the look-out for a few reviews on the brands in the next week or two ) , and I'm slowly testing them out at this stage. Today I'm sharing three of those products with you , and my thoughts on each one.

Catrice Prime & Fine Eyeshadow Base
The Catrice Prime & Fine Eyeshadow base is a nude eyeshadow base / primer. I really had high hopes, since I LOVE the Essence Eyeshadow base ... But this was a little bit of a let down personally for me. It's a good primer, it does help my eyeshadow last longer, but it's not mind blowing in my opinion . If you're looking for a great eyeshadow base though ... I would recommend the Essence one rather.

Catrice All Round Coverstick Concealer
I'm a big fan of this concealer. The rounded tip makes it easy to apply on trickier places (like to cover the redness around my nose ... glide smoothly under my eyes )The formula is great too , doesn't look cakey at all , and works great to even brighten under your eyes. It's hard to find a concealer that will work to cover redness, pimples AND cover dark circles without looking cakey yet still blends easily , and this little gem I will surely replace once I finish it. I have mine in the colour 010 Nude - but it does come in different skin tone colours.

Catrice Matt Mousse Make-Up
It's no surprise that I love testing out new foundations. So when this mousse make-up arrived I was so excited to try Catrice's version . So far I'm SUPER happy... It applies smoothly , blends easily ... And this colour suits me PERFECTLY . This foundation has quickly become my favourite, and even replaced my favourite everyday foundation . If I'm not sure what my day will be like -  I just reach for this foundation .

This isn't a full coverage foundation, but it gives great medium coverage and lasts all day and really helps keep you matt. I do still use powder ( I'm using Catrice All Matt powder, and in combination with this I stay oil free for most of the day )

I'm in the colour 025 Light Beige.

What's YOUR favourite Catrice product at this stage ? Any fun weekend plans ??

*This product/s was send to me in exchange for my honest opinion*

  3. I love your honest reviews... The foundation sounds amazing, but it's great you mentioned about the eyeshadow primer, I have greasy eyelids, so I'll rather try the Essence one.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each ...

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I d...
