CND Weekly Polish

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . Hope you had a great weekend .

Today I'm sharing a great concept polish from CND Vinylux with you guys. This is the Weekly Polish and Weekly Top Coat . The colour I got was a funky green, and while green nail polish isn't normally a colour I'd wear, the colour Lush Tropics colour was a great addition to my collection.

So onto my thoughts on the nail polish first -
If you don’t change your nail polish often ( And I'm guilty off this , although I have a HUGE collection, I just don't have the time to sit and do my nails daily or a few times a week, work and home duties keep me busy ) , this might be the perfect polish combination for you.

The polish itself has a lovely buttery formula and great colours in the range . The fact that it doesn’t stain or need a base-coat is a HUGE bonus ( Especially if you usaully don't have time to sit and wait for each coat of your nail polish to dry ) . And this did worry me a little, because green (and blue and red ) nail polishes sometimes stain... badly... And this didn't stain at all.

I found the wear time to be very good. I wore this for 7days straight, and got a little tip wear , but could have easily gotten another day or two wear out of it if I didn't get tired of the colour. Over time, the finish dulled some, but that's perfectly normal with wearing polish for a few days. You can easily fix this by adding another coat of top coat during the week. I did get a chip on my thumb near the end of the week but that's just because I broke that nail that day too.

Two coats of Weekly Polish and one coat of Weekly Top Coat and about 5/6 minutes later I can function normally. Like  go to the bathroom (ummm don't you hate it if you NEED to use the bathroom right after you painted your nails ??? ) , be out the door without worrying about ruining your mani,  normal.

So onto the swatches of this gorgeous polish -

And here's how it looked after seven days. As you can notice, my nails grew quite a bit in the week, but the tip wear isn't that bad at all.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the Weekly Polish and Top coat, and will be looking into some more work friendly colours.

Have YOU tried CND Vinylux before ??

  7. I don't like the green too much but I really like the fact of not doing my NAILS in the week during work but still having them look flawless

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
