5 Favourite Neutral Nail Polishes for Work

Hi guys ! First off - HAPPY 2016. I really hope that it will be a truly magical year for each and every one of you .

Like last year - I will have a few back to work inspired posts for you guys. If you are unlucky like me to be back at work today again - I really hope you enjoy your first day back.

I know some work environments isn't too keen on bright blue and red and pink nail polishes, so today I'm narrowing it down to share  my 5 Favourite Neutral Nail Polishes with you guys.  Here's a link to my favourites of last year that included different options if you want to check it out.

piCture pOlish beige
This is one of my favourite pallet cleanser polishes. It's GORGEOUS , long lasting and *swoon* one of my absolute favourites.

OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons
It's the second year I'm mentioning this polish and with good reason. This is a great staple in any collection - I'm already on my second bottle .

Morgan Taylor Now You See Me
This is a little darker than the average polish would wear to work ( I love this one in the winter time ) . This is the perfect brown nail polish especially on darker skin tones.

Essence No Make Up Look Powdery Rose
Okay , I have to admit this amazing polish came into my life about three weeks ago and it's truly an amazing nail polish . This polish dries down to a matte finish , but remains long lasting. ( And it's the one I'm rocking today back at work )  It's the perfect light pinkish finish that gives your nails a pretty healthy looking finish.

Revlon Sophisticated
This is a great grey nail polish , making it neutral enough for work , yet stylish and as the name suggests - sophisticated. This is perfect to go from boardroom to night on the town too .

How was your Festive Season ? And having a blast in 2016 so far ?

*Some of these product/s was send to me in exchange for my honest opinion*

  8. great advise, i'm always on the hunt for work-friendly looks and i think you should make a series of any product (even make-up) apt for work looks, also i really like the idea and officially request a posts series on nail polishes that you think are wearable for this or that specific occasion. eg. work, parties, wedding, romantic dates ect.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each ...

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I d...
