John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter Make-Up Look

Hi guys ! Happy Tuesday . How was your Monday ? Having a great start to the week ?? Part of the Rubybox campaign was to create a fun make-up look after using the shampoo and conditioner from the new John Frieda Brilliant Brunette range. I was really looking forward to this challenge as I can give mini reviews on some of my favourite products I like to use  .  As you guys know from my review  HERE  I am really loving the range . I used to use some voluminous spray in my hair daily - but I love how much more manageable my hair seems to be and how soft and smooth it it - that I just wash , dry and go in the mornings. My highlights in my hair has gone much more brighter and has the most beautiful golden sheen now.  I love making my green eyes pop on occasion - so the make-up look I will be sharing is the products I use for a gorgeous purple look to go along with the gorgeous golden sheen in my hair.   Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Normal /...

Born Pretty Stamping Plate - BP-L052 & Nail Protector Review

Hi guys ! Happy Thursday ? How has your week been ?  Today I'm sharing two manis as well as two product reviews from  BornPrettyStore  - a gorgeous design (although these aren't too florally - I love the design of this plate ) and the Cuticle Guide Nail Protectors .  First off - I haven't used any of the Born Pretty Store rectangular stamping plates - so I was pretty impressed with the size of this one . The images all pick up perfectly - which is great since I have Mo You plates that cost a lot more that doesn't pick up the images well. I use a squishy clear stamper for all the stamping I do.  I did two manicures with two different designs so far (I'm still wearing the pinky one as this was my Valentine's week mani ) . For this mani I used : Essence White on White Essence Grey Zone China Glaze Haunting China Glaze Fairy Dust And onto nail look two -  For this mani I used : Avon Magic Lace Polish (Pink) Revlon Chard...

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter Range

Hi guys . Happy Monday . How was your weekend ?  A little earlier month I received the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette range to try out - usually I feel intimidated by testing out shampoos and conditioners since my hair likes to act like a diva - so I know after one use if I will hate a range or love it. But I'm trying to use better products on my hair this year - so I was exited to even use the conditioner - since I want softer  healthy hair in 2017.  Some more on this range - "This shampoo subtly lightens the golden tones in your hair as a brunette with highlights, as well as emphasising the brunette tones. Can be used on natural light brunettes or colour-treated hair. Massage into wet hair, lather and rinse. For best results, follow with Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter Subtle Lightening Conditioner.  The conditioner illuminates all brunette highlights and lower tones. Helps with moisturising hair and is ammonia/peroxide free." Just a wo...

Owl Love You Water Decal mani

Hi guys ! Happy Thursday. How has your week been ? Mine has been an extremely long week so far - I really can't wait to get home on Saturday afternoon from work and just chill.  As I mentioned in my last nail related post - I am trying to make a bit more effort with my nails this year. Water Decals makes having pretty nails so much easier - it really takes a few seconds for some gorgeous art on your fingertips.  Today I'm sharing  THESE  pretty water decals from  BornPrettyStore  . Again - I went predictable for me and went with owls (Can I just say I am having so much fun with these owl decals )  I love using them as accent nails instead of full Mani's - I find that way the look doesn't look too overly done . I picked the cute pink owls - but how gorgeous are those top row of owls too ?? So onto the nails : And a little close up of the star of the show - the little pink owl :  The colours used : Essence White On Whit...

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Range - And First Check In

Hi guys ! Happy Friday. How is your week been so far ? I have been crazy busy the last few days - hopefully next week I will be back to normal.  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the  BeautyBulletin  Influencers to test out the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range - and I was pretty excited. As I've mentioned a million times here on the blog - I do suffer from dehydrated skin. The Hydro Boost range is specifically created to help combat the effects of dehydrated skin , and help nourish the skin . The Neutrogena Hydro Boost range consists of hydrating facial cleansers and moisturisers. Their unique Hyalurolic Acid Gel Matrix creates a hydration reservoir and works with the skin's natural moisture system to replenish , restore and deliver hydration throughout the day . It leaves your skin supple - and ready to bounce back to healthy hydrated skin.  One of the main reason my skin went from oily to more normal dehydrated skin, was most l...
