Some new Glamore Goodies on my Beauty Desk

Hi guys ! Happy Wednesday ! How has your week been so far ?

Last year on the black Friday sale I picked up a few goodies - and I'm only getting around to reviewing them now. It's no secret that Glamore Cosmetics is one of my favourite online stores - the customer service Gael provides is out of this world amazing and I haven't ordered something I didn't fall in love with.

Hean High Definition Fixer Spray R310 This product shouldn't be confused with a setting spray (that generally blends make-up into skin ). This is a magical fine mist that will help keep your make-up in place and looking fabulous for much longer. The spray is a very fine mist but it takes some getting used to if you are just used to traditional setting sprays - the mister on here is more like a hairspray mister . Which still catches me by surprise on some days. I do find if I use this Fixer spray my make-up stays in place for the day - even on the hot and humid days we have been getting here in Johannesburg. It does have a bit of scent - but it disappears within a few minutes of spraying it on. Honestly - I really love this and will continue to buy this from now on.

Hean Stay On Eyeshadow Base R215 As you guys know I love using eyeshadow base daily - I feel if I make an effort with doing a gorgeous smokey eye or a basic neutral everyday colour I would really like it to look like that all day. I got this as a freebie with an eyeshadow palette that I will be reviewing soon too - and let me tell you this is such a good eyeshadow primer. I generally stay away from potted eyeshadow primers as they tend to be super hard and not the easiest to use - so I was really surprised by the soft easy blend-ability of this primer. I have tried it with Glamore Eyeshadows as well as other eyeshadows and I can say it does make your eye make-up look last all day. I love how it applies so soft and buttery and doesn't get too sticky and crusty on the eye. This is really one of the best eyeshadow primers I have tried - and my favourite go to one currently.

Hean Strobing Palette Professional Highlighter x3 R350  So first off ... let's be real. Did Lynette need another highlighter when I bought this ? No . But they had a special offer with this gorgeous highlighter palette as well as some free unicorn brushes and I know I couldn't say no. It's also no secret that I'm also too obsessed with unicorns. And apparently highlighter as I can't go a day now without a little glow. This palette consists of three gorgeous toned highlighters - a more golden toned one , a white toned highlighter and a bronze toned highlighter. And since I know when it's winter I'm as white as snow and no highlighter shows up on my skin I tend to choose whiter toned highlighters for winter. These are such buttery highlighters that melts into the skin leaving the most gorgeous glow. My favourite one currently is the bronze one which even surprised me - the colour works amazingly with my darker hair to make me glow. There will be some swatches at the end too. I feel all the shades are pretty universal and can even be used for inner corner highlight on the eyes too if the shade is too light for your skin. This is really such a gorgeous and easily bendable palette so it's perfect for beginners.

Hean Mirror Highlighter Illuminating  Face and Body Highlighter R255  This colour has a unique silvery beige tone - which for me is perfect all year round. This liquid highlight is perfect for popping onto the cheekbones as well as putting on your shoulders for a super summery glow. and a little does go a long way. I love using this as a base for the highlighter palette on super hot days or pool days when I know an extra glow won't hurt anyone. This colour is swatched first below if you want to see it in action . Again this blends super easily - and bonus lasts forever on the skin. I see this as a magical potion I use on those days I need some extra glow because my make-up looks a little dull from lack of sleep or being sick.

Have you tried any new products lately that impressed you ?? How has your week been ?

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...)
