November Sample Sunday Rundown

Hi guys ! Happy Tuesday . How has your week been so far ? Mine has been crazy busy - but luckily it should calm down soon ? Who's ready for the holidays ? I know I am. So as I mentioned, I'm doing a #SampleSunday on all my social media channels every Sunday - where I do a mini review on a sample sized product or magazine .  So onto this month's exciting items.  Week 1 (  ) This  #SampleSunday  is a magazine freebie. Glamour Magazine has 4 different beauty related products free this month and I'm sharing swatches of the two options of nail polishes that was available. (The other items where a mascara or Kiss false nails) The pink duo is my favourite but the red and nude are great colours. The polishes has a bit of a chemical smell and was a little goopy (my red and nude set) . Overall these were okay - nothing mind blowing amazing.  Week 2 : (   )  My  #SampleSunday  this week is another cult favourite - Benefit thePO...

Essence All About Greys Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and Review

Hi guys. Happy Wednesday . How has your week been so far ? Mine has been pretty chill in general but the rest of the week will be a bit busier. A while back Essence sent me this palette - and while I showed it a ton over on Instagram - I wanted to do a review on the blog too as this is a really stunning little eyeshadow palette.  They do have 5 in this range - Roses, Greys , Nudes and Bronze & Vintage - and while I usually tend to gravitate towards more nude colours I love grey nail polishes and decided why not try this palette I was sent. I was pleasantly surprised - the colours are all pretty neutral and everyday wear friendly - they aren't glittery (although there sparkly shades has a subtle sparkle I won't say it's a glitter. )  There are 8 shades in this palette - the top row is more grey toned while I found the bottom four shades to be more nude / taupe coloured .  The formulation on these eyeshadows are very smooth and buttery - the apply su...

Hi guys ! Happy Friday . The last two weeks totally caught me off guard - I'm a little busier than usual so sorry for the lack of posts this week guys. Hopefully after next week everything will calm down a bit and I can share some more fun posts with you guys. I got this gorgeous Revlon Unforgettable Encounter perfume I while back and couldn't wait to start playing with it. I decided to do another fun  Date Night Look  for you guys - this will be another perfect combo for Christmas parties or just going out with someone special.  Revlon Unforgettable Encounter does have a very sensual grown-up scent - I find this perfect for a smarter date night . You feel sexy and sophisticated wearing this gorgeous scent. I decided to pair it with a bold red lippie and a stunning red polish to finish of the look.  Some more info on this scent : "It’s a heady floral fragrance that opens with fruity top notes of peach, nectarine and juicy litchi. At the core is...

Some New Essence Nail Colours

Hi guys ! Haw happy Tuesday . How has your week been so far ?  Last week I got another awesome little PR package from Essence - and the polishes was calling my name so I know I just had to swatch them as soon as possible.  I got six shades I will be sharing with you today.  Essence Pretty Cool Life This colour looks more grey in my photo - but it's a stunning murky green colour. While this isn't a colour I can see myself reaching for often - it's still gorgeous and I might reach for it more when I get more of a tan in December. Shown above is 2 coats of polish.  Essence Perfect Pair As you know I'm a sucker for gorgeous pink polishes - and this one is no exception. This is a gorgeous peachy pinky colour that has a great formula and is opaque in two easy coats.  Essence Dreaming of Love ? How cute is the name of this gorgeous pink. Again - I love this darker pink so I can see myself reaching for this one a ton in the future. Again  a g...

October Monthly Favourites

Hi guys ! Happy Thursday . How has your week been so far ? Mine has been crazy busy - I do hope it calms down a little bit from today. Today I will share my first ever monthly favourites post. October was a crazy busy month for me , so I stuck with products I knew worked and loved. These are the 8 products that I reached for most . Benefit Ka-Brow! & Benefit Ready, Set , Brow ! I  have to admit - I was one of the people that couldn't understand the hype about Benefit Brow Products. I love my Essence eyebrow pencil and I have always been super happy with it.  Then I decided to buy myself a little set on Red Square ( I got the Bigger & Bolder brows set ) and been addicted to the Ka-Brow! from day one. This is an amazing cream gel brow colour with a brush (so no need to carry around an extra brush ) . It's sweat proof and still looks amazing after a day running errand and swimming. I use this in combination with the clear brow gel - and I can see myself pick...
