Flaunting My Fearless with Clairol Color Crave

Hi guys ! Happy Monday . How was your weekend ? I had the most chill weekend with family and the kiddo playing and just relaxing.

Two weeks ago Rubybox sent me the Clairol Color Crave in Orchid to try out. I was really excited to give this a go as I am a little clueless what I want to do with my hair this year. The Clairol Color Crave range has 6 fun colourful colours that work on blond and brunette hair. What I love that no bleaching is required but the lighter your hair the longer the wear time.

It's pretty easy to use too - wet hair ... apply with the brush for a easy paint on application  ... wash and voila. No mixing is required (this is a direct dye formula ) and I love the funky black gloves that comes with the set. I left my colour on for 20 minutes - but you can easily leave it a little longer for a brighter look.

This range is paraben , peroxide and ammonia free. The formula claims to have no fade colour surprises and last 15 washes. As I mentioned on the blog before ... I do wash my hair mostly everyday. So far I really love my results. My hair is noticeable darker - but I love that since I had blonder highlights still visible in my hair how amazing the colour results look. I wasn't expecting to be blown away and love the colour as much as I am currently doing. It does wash away evenly. On lighter hair the colour will last a little longer - and I can definitely see that is true but this isn't too in your fave purple - I actually feel this colour is so me.
I'm not quite at the 15 washes mark - but the last photo in this collage is on day 12 ... and as you can see the main colour is lighter .. but the purple is still pretty visible in the lighter blonder parts. After 7 washes I did notice a quite significant fade - but the colour was still there . I do love the shade options - but I feel I can see myself using the Orchid again . The boxes retail for R124,90 at Dischem. My hair didn't feel dried out after colour or the week of colouring - my hair was soft , nourished and looked amazing.

The colour ranges and my before ... after and after 7 washes  photos  :

Overall ... as I mentioned I'm really loving the purple ... the colour worked fantastic on my highlighted hair ... and I felt it gave it an overall pretty impressive end result in tone. I might even try the Flamingo pink shade too - but I feel the purple is so me .

Would you switch up your hair colour if it meant no damage to your hair ??

Product was sent for review but thoughts are all my own

  4. I would love to color my hair, but I just don't want to deal with the upkeep if I did a drastic change. I have very dark hair and would love to dye it a vibrant purple or pastel blue. I basically have a pixie cut now and I change it up and sometimes do a mohawk type cut. The color would be so fun!

    1. Yes the upkeep is always a downside though ... I'm way too lazy to keep it permantly purple but it was super fun to try out.

  7. I never really dye my hair because I'm so scared to damage it. I love that this dye is free from most harmful chemicals. The colour looks great on you. 💖💕💖

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
