Cadbury Dairy Milk Celebrates Its New Look

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far?

Cadbury Dairy Milk revitalised its look to make it easier for you to spot your favourite delicious flavour - and revamped their most popular flavours. It's still the same delicious chocolate with a glass and a half inside -  The refreshed look reflects the brand's natural goodness and philanthropic spirit, envisioned by founder John Cadbury over a century ago.

While chocolate lovers can still expect the same delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk quality that they have come to expect from each slab, the new elevated packaging emphasises Cadbury’s vision to inspire goodness through its products, people and programmes.

Let's run through the new packaging of the top 5 chocolates :

The new-look packaging proudly showcases the Cocoa Life logo, which represents the Mondelez 100% sustainably sourced cocoa programme. Cocoa Life is Cadbury Dairy Milk’s commitment to keeping the building and empowering resilient, thriving cocoa farming communalities to produce its 100% sustainably sourced cocoa beans. Every time you purchase your favourite Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, you are generously giving back - this is the brand’s promise to you.

The Cocoa Life sustainability programme has been integral to the brand over the past eight years. The programme supports building a thriving cocoa supply chain by increasing cocoa productivity and empowering local cocoa farming communities to improve their resilience. This rings true to how the Cadbury brothers supported communities in the early 1900’s - working on the ground to help men and women grow quality cocoa.

The programme focuses on turning cocoa into a business of choice for the 175,000 cocoa farmers, creating inclusive and empowered communities that concentrate on sustainable farming practices, upskilling women, youth development through ongoing education and reading opportunities as well as teaching these communities how to conserve, protect and restore the surrounding forests and lands.

To date, Cocoa Life has assisted in planting 1.2 million trees in cocoa regions across the world. By 2025, Mondelez has committed to having all its chocolate brands, across the globe, source their cocoa through the programme.

“As an iconic brand here in South Africa and the world over, our refreshed Cadbury Dairy Milk packaging is an example of our commitment to continue to stay true to our roots offering a truly authentic brand, crafted from ethically sourced ingredients and in the manner we can all be proud of to deliver our delicious quality chocolate,’’ says Lara Sidersky, Mondelez SA, Category Lead for Chocolate.

Langa Khanyile, Chocolate Equity Lead for Mondelez Sub Saharan Africa added, “Ours is a brand that is built on generations of wholesome goodness, authenticity and generosity.  Cadbury Dairy Milk inspires the kind of nostalgia and a deep-rooted sense of connection that other brands can only dream about. We knew there was a need to deliver more than just a newly refreshed and modernised design, we wanted to recapture the very spirit of Cadbury; drawing inspiration from our rich heritage to create a modern and playful identity that still has clear recognition amongst consumers.”

Overall - I love the new packaging - and chocolate in general - so I'm excited to indulge in these yummy chocolates .

What is YOUR favourite chocolate? I adore the Cadbury Milk and Mint slabs - but I dove into the Fruit and Nut and really enjoyed that.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
