Tip Top Sprinkle Beads : Beauty & The Beach & Love On The Rocks

Hi guys ! Hope everyone had a nice weekend !! I did ! I had a lovely Spa morning at Camelot Spa at O.R Tambo, and let me tell you it was amazing. This was a gift the lovely Ghila from Nails Noob gifted me, and it was a really fun and relaxing experience. (Thanks again my dear friend !! )

Today I will be showing you two colours in the Tip Top Sprinkle Beads range. As you know I LOVE pink, so I was pleasantly surprised when these to was included in the polishes I was send for review.

Beauty & The Beach is a lovely light pink colour, with multi-coloured  beads to create the caviar effect mani. Love on the Rocks is such a gorgeous bright pink with pink beads .

Here's the instructions to use these beauties -
  • First off polish a nail with the colour provided on the one end .
  • As with the confetti glitter ones, have a piece of paper handy to catch the extra beads in the next step !
  • Gently shake the beads onto the nail .
  • Move onto the next nail and repeat the above steps
  • After about 5 nails, gently "dust" off the extra beads around the finger , and LIGHTLY press down on the beads on the nail. As I mentioned here, lightly, you don't want to press them off the nail, just to gently embed them into the polish.
Here's the tools I used for these swatches -
  • A piece of paper
  • The polishes
  • And a nail art brush (but any brush will do to lightly brush off the extra beads

So let me share my thoughts on the Sprinkle Beads :
  • First off, I won't usually wear these as FULL mani's.. More as an accent nail , but for the swatches I decided to test the wear time , they do last longer when they are only used as an accent nail. That being said, these lasted a good two days before the beads starting bumping off. But do note I do use my hands a lot and they do come in contact with water a lot during the day.
  • This texture is a little more obvious than the Confetti Glitter, and if you're not used to it, it will take a little getting used too.
  • This will look gorgeous for special events or for a fun accent nail on an existing mani.
So let me share the swatches of Beauty & The Beach with You -

I really love this combination, the coloured beads does have a gorgeous effect on the light pink polish...  ♥

And the swatches of Love on the Rocks -

The Love on The Rocks actually surprised me and turned out to be my favourite of the two ! This is seriously a gorgeous coloured polish, and the beads really make it pop !! This is hands down the winner of the two in my books !!

As with the Confetti Glitters, the Sprinkle Beads comes in 6 gorgeous colours ♥ These retail at Clicks for R79,95 , and really is such an awesome addition to their range.

I hope you will have a gorgeous Monday ! I do have one more in this range to share with you soon , and on Friday I will show 2 swatches of the Wild Thing Glitter Range ♥

 * These products  was send to me for review ,  but this is my honest opinion on the products send *

    1. The full beads mani lasted about two days as sated above.. And that included housework, working, doing dishes and laundry too. Still pretty impressive . In a accent nail mani, they last a lot longer though.

Farm Animals Friday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
