Revlon Lip Butters

Hi guys ! I really can't believe its weekend already ! This week has really flown by .

Today I'm bringing another beauty post for you . When I first started blogging, they were weekly features , and I really wanted to bring them back . They wont be weekly features anymore, but more of an occasional post.

Today I'm sharing some gorgeous Revlon Lip Butters with you . I got one from a newer range to review a while back, and instantly fell in love. When I went to Clicks last week, I found these ones on sale (R39,95 ) and picked up a few more. So today I will be sharing the 4 colours I picked up with you . I got Sugar Frosting, Gumdrop, Creamsicle and Sweet Tart.

First off - The formula on these beauties are AMAZE-BALLS ! I really struggle to find lip products since I'm really sensitive to most lipstick and lipbalm brands, so I was really impressed that these worked perfectly on me. I found them SUPER moisturising and the colours are sheer but buildable which I loved too .

The colour doesn't last forever , but since it is a lip butter I wasn't expecting whole day colour. The colour did last a good two hours on me before fading slowly . (That includes eating and drinking ) . I also loved that the colour didn't feather off ... A HUGE bonus is my books. These all make perfect day time lip looks.

So onto the swatches -

Sugar Frosting is a pale pink colour. I love that it's light and girly. I really thought this one would have been my favourite, but that honour goes to Gumdrop.

Gumdrop is a sheer pale lilac. I only have one word for this colour - GORGEOUS ! This turned out to be my favourite of the four, so much that I bought not one but two back ups of this colour.

Creamsicle is very pale warm peachy shade. Perfect for a nude-ish make-up daytime look.

Sweet Tart is a bright cool pink. I really like this colour too, and it would be so perfect for a nighttime look too.

As I mentioned, Clicks has these babies on special currently for R39,95 until the 12th .... If you see them RUN ! Don't just walk to the bin and grab yourself one. (Or two or three... hey no one's judging.. hee hee hee ) .

Did you pick up any of these beauties ??? Any fun weekend plans ???

  6. I like darker shades, but my mom is into these. I have to say I like how the case is the color of the lip butter. I like to use lip stains and lipstick more than tinted lip butters and gloss.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each ...

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I d...
