Revlon Age Defying CC Cream & Firming & Lifting Foundation Review

Hi guys ! Hope you are all having a great week so far. Mine has been super busy  ... But hopefully it will calm down a bit soon.

Today I'm sharing my thoughts on two new Revlon products I've been testing out for a while now - Their new Age Defying Range CC Cream & Firming & Lifting Foundation.

First up is the Revlon Age Defying CC Cream :
From the Revlon Website -
A multi-benefit color-correcting and anti-ageing CC cream, Revlon Age Defying CC Cream™ Colour Corrector, targets the very first signs of aging to deliver light, yet buildable, coverage and improve the condition of your skin. Hyperpigmentation and fine lines can be seen as the initial signs of ageing; Revlon Age Defying CC Cream™ diminishes these, instantly covering, hydrating, smoothing and brightening skin. Fine lines are visibly smoothed and skin tone looks brighter while being protected with a broad spectrum SPF 30. In just 8 weeks, 85% of women saw a reduction in the appearance of dark spots on bare skin.

My thoughts on the product :
I wear foundation basically everyday, so I wasn't sure if I would like the CC Cream. But I was pleasantly surprised. I love that the CC Cream has a SPF30 in, as I'm very VERY big on using Sunscreen every single day. The product was also very hydrating , and I loved the fact that this made my skin look so fresh brightened without looking over powering. This really was MY SKIN JUST BETTER . As I was struggling with a few sleepless nights thrown in too, I was surprised that this made me look awake each morning. Seriously this is like magic in a bottle for me.

PRODUCT FEATURES/BENEFITS/INGREDIENTS:
vA lightweight, multitasking formula that provides SPF
       sunscreen protection, moisture, coverage, luminosity
       and even skin tone;
vSkin tone is more even and looks brighter;
vFine lines are visibly improved and dry skin instantly
        moisturised;
vContains Broad Spectrum SPF 30;
vIn just 8 weeks, 85% of women saw a reduction in the
vappearance of dark spots on bare skin.

Next up is the Revlon Age Defying Firming & Lifting Make-Up
Some info from the Revlon Website :
Revlon Age Defying Firming + Lifting Makeup™ With SPF 15 - Revlon’s first anti-ageing foundation with lifting and firming benefits. Revlon Age Defying Firming + Lifting Makeup™ is a multi-use makeup that gives flawless coverage, instantly covering dark spots and wrinkles while providing you with a more youthful, brighter look. The makeup uses an advanced formula with our exclusive Triple Lift Complex to visibly tighten and contour skin, targeting the more advanced signs of aging. 93% of women saw noticeably improved skin after just 8 weeks.

PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Dark spots, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles – these are indicators of ageing skin. While we believe in the notion of ageing gracefully, we also believe you can defy age beautifully. Revlon unveils a new approach to age defying with a collection of anti-ageing products that correct, conceal and protect. Whether looking for targeted solutions or all-over coverage, the Revlon Age Defying Firming & Lifting Makeup allows you to defy age…beautifully.
As a dermatologist who specialises in the prevention and treatment of sun damage, I am excited to be working with Revlon on their revolutionary Age Defying Firming + Lifting Makeup. Revlon has a long history of expertise with makeup, providing women with a bright, natural and more youthful glow. I am especially impressed with Revlon's science and innovation to bridge the gap and provide a makeup line with unique anti-ageing properties; their exclusive Triple Lift Complex contains hyaluronic acid and peptides, helping women to maintain a youthful appearance and to feel more beautiful.” – Dr. Elizabeth Hale, Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology, NYU School of Medicine.
This foundation works to even skin tone, cover flaws while brightening and hydrating skin for a refreshed, lifted look.

My thoughts on the product :
As I mentioned I do wear foundation every day, so I was so happy to try out this foundation. This is a medium to full coverage foundation on me, and again , I loved that this didn't look caked on as some foundations tend to look. This went on smoothly and again, blends in perfectly with your skin. I have a few dark spots and this covered them perfectly. This is the first foundation in a while that I can say I am 100% happy with. Again, this has a SPF 15 in, another huge bonus for me.

PRODUCT FEATURES/BENEFITS/INGREDIENTS:
vRevlon’s most advanced anti-aging formula that delivers a
    youthful look with seamless coverage in a foundation with
    added skincare benefits;
vAdvanced formula with exclusive Triple Lift Complex to
    visibly  tighten and contour skin;
vSkin feels firmer and appears more contoured and fine line
    and wrinkles appear diminished;
vMedium to full buildable coverage with broad spectrum
    SPF 15;
vIn just 12weeks, 91% of women saw younger looking skin

Farm Animals Friday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
