Hi guys ! Hope your having a great week and had an awesome Christmas time spend with family and friends. I had a great festive time. Today I'm sharing my last update of the Essence Advent Calender. I really enjoyed the calender , and will most certainly be on the lookout for another fun Advent calender to open next year.  As always , this isn't a full review on the products - but I have written down the ones people wanted mini reviews on and will be sharing that in the new year.  So onto the goodies : Day 20 : Purple Duo Sharpener . I have this one in orange already , but I wanted a girlier version for my work make-up bag. These are amazing sharpeners for your eyeliners . Day 21 : Essence Nail Polish in My Love Diary. I already own this colour , but it's a gorgeous colour so I'm glad I have a back up. Day 22 : Essence Bling Bling Nail Stickers. I love wearing nail studs studs so these will be used very very soon. Day 23: Essence Glossy Kiss Berry Glos...

EyeSeeHue Online store and Sephora Sheet Mask Review

Hi guys ! Happy Friday ! Who's excited for the weekend ? I am - I hardly have a Saturday off but now that we are moving into the Festive season I'm off... Yeah ! If you follow me on social media you know I'm in love with sheet masks. As a single mom I value my time - so sheet masks are my special me-time treat . They are quick and easy - I can pop them on , write a blogpost , watch some series on T.V or fold laundry or answer emails at night. After the 20 minutes (I sometimes do leave them on for even longer than that) I massage the extra serum / essence into my skin and voila.  I usually classify sheet masks into two categories - more affordable options for 2 / 3 times a week when I need a boost and more special me time masks. I love how they address any skin concerns I might have (dry skin ... blemishes ... anti -ageing )  I was lucky enough to get sent some of these Sephora sheet masks from a new online store in South Africa -  EyeSeeHue  . They stock some...

November Sample Sunday Rundown

Hi guys ! Happy Tuesday . How has your week been so far ? Mine has been crazy busy - but luckily it should calm down soon ? Who's ready for the holidays ? I know I am. So as I mentioned, I'm doing a #SampleSunday on all my social media channels every Sunday - where I do a mini review on a sample sized product or magazine .  So onto this month's exciting items.  Week 1 (  ) This  #SampleSunday  is a magazine freebie. Glamour Magazine has 4 different beauty related products free this month and I'm sharing swatches of the two options of nail polishes that was available. (The other items where a mascara or Kiss false nails) The pink duo is my favourite but the red and nude are great colours. The polishes has a bit of a chemical smell and was a little goopy (my red and nude set) . Overall these were okay - nothing mind blowing amazing.  Week 2 : (   )  My  #SampleSunday  this week is another cult favourite - Benefit thePO...

Essence All About Greys Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and Review

Hi guys. Happy Wednesday . How has your week been so far ? Mine has been pretty chill in general but the rest of the week will be a bit busier. A while back Essence sent me this palette - and while I showed it a ton over on Instagram - I wanted to do a review on the blog too as this is a really stunning little eyeshadow palette.  They do have 5 in this range - Roses, Greys , Nudes and Bronze & Vintage - and while I usually tend to gravitate towards more nude colours I love grey nail polishes and decided why not try this palette I was sent. I was pleasantly surprised - the colours are all pretty neutral and everyday wear friendly - they aren't glittery (although there sparkly shades has a subtle sparkle I won't say it's a glitter. )  There are 8 shades in this palette - the top row is more grey toned while I found the bottom four shades to be more nude / taupe coloured .  The formulation on these eyeshadows are very smooth and buttery - the apply su...

Hi guys ! Happy Friday . The last two weeks totally caught me off guard - I'm a little busier than usual so sorry for the lack of posts this week guys. Hopefully after next week everything will calm down a bit and I can share some more fun posts with you guys. I got this gorgeous Revlon Unforgettable Encounter perfume I while back and couldn't wait to start playing with it. I decided to do another fun  Date Night Look  for you guys - this will be another perfect combo for Christmas parties or just going out with someone special.  Revlon Unforgettable Encounter does have a very sensual grown-up scent - I find this perfect for a smarter date night . You feel sexy and sophisticated wearing this gorgeous scent. I decided to pair it with a bold red lippie and a stunning red polish to finish of the look.  Some more info on this scent : "It’s a heady floral fragrance that opens with fruity top notes of peach, nectarine and juicy litchi. At the core is...
